ANUPAMA PANI

While coming of age, Anupama Pani, MD, was exposed to the field of medicine and recognized the importance of helping others in need. Drawing upon influence from her parents, a physician and a nurse, she pursed a formal education at the Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean Netherlands, where she obtained an MD in 1999. Completing subsequent medical training in family medicine at Wayne State University and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, Dr. Pani has since become a prominent and successful figure in her own right.

Since 2003, Dr. Pani has earned distinction as the owner and medical director of Immediate Medical Care in Briarcliff, New York, for which she provides both medical and administrative direction to patients and physicians. Alongside her primary career endeavors, she has been a board member of the Westchester Medical Society. Dr. Pani likewise maintains her professional affiliation with the New York State Medical Society.

Dr. Pani attributes her success to her parents, who were both immigrants, but relocated to the United States due to a growing need for medical staffing. Maintaining a humble nature and appreciating her childhood and upbringing, growing up in the United States has helped Dr. Pani keep her priorities in perspective in terms of her career path and personal life. The proud mother of two children, she hopes to begin working in urgent care and help improve the lives of individuals who need help. She aspires to work in a primary care setting as well.
