Karene T. Gibbs has established a successful career as an intuitive holistic wellness life coach, excelling in her role at Shanara Sacred Energy Healing Center since 2022. She specializes in helping individuals heal from trauma, depression, and anxiety through a holistic approach that integrates the body, mind, and spirit. Her expertise in crystal sound therapy has proven particularly effective for clients with post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and insomnia, with many reporting improved sleep cycles and an overall sense of well-being. Ms. Gibbs is also the owner of Energy Intelligence Academy, where she expands her influence in the field of holistic healing.
Before her current roles, Ms. Gibbs was a COVID-19 tester and certified nursing assistant site lead at Rhino Medical Services from 2020 to 2022 and an adjunct instructor for home care aides at the Community Colleges of Spokane from 2019 to 2020. Her professional experience includes working as an online ESL teacher at ABC Tutor from 2016 to 2017, a freight associate at Home Depot from 2015 to 2017, and a home care aide at Senior Life Resources from 2014 to 2015. Ms. Gibbs also served as a business assistant office manager at Hadwick Insurance and provided customer service web support in loan servicing at Sykes in 2013. Her teaching career began as a lead primary school teacher at Spanish Town Primary from 2004 to 2010 and as a classroom preschool teacher at Epsom Basic School in 2004.
Laying a solid educational foundation, Ms. Gibbs earned a diploma in early childhood education from Shortwood Teachers College in 2004 and a bachelor’s degree in education, from Western Carolina University in 2008. She pursued coursework toward a master’s degree in business administration at Louisiana State University Shreveport in 2017 and pre-registered nursing studies at Walla Walla Community College in 2019. Ms. Gibbs is a Certified Intuitive Medical Healing Practitioner through Awake, holds an Insurance Producer Life and Health License from the Kaplan Career Institute-Harrisburg, a certification in ESL instruction from Bridge Education Group, and a certified nursing assistant credential from Walla Walla Community College.
Further contributing to the field, as a published author, Ms. Gibbs wrote “Cosmic Love: Embracing Your Divine Essence With Galactic Guidance—Journeying With Archangels, Ancestors, and Ascended Masters Towards Self-Love and Enlightenment” in 2024, an achievement in which she takes great pride. Additionally, she has dedicated her time as a member of the American Red Cross East Disaster Action Team since 2013 and volunteers with the Walla Walla State Home program.
Reflecting on her path, Ms. Gibbs overcame depression by identifying its root causes and embarking on a personal healing journey. Inspired to help others with similar traumas, she discovered the transformative power of crystal sound therapy, which has provided profound relief to her clients. She believes her holistic coaching approach, integrating multiple healing modalities, sets her apart.
Ms. Gibbs attributes her success to exceptional mentors who believed in her, as well as to her own persistence and daily commitment to her goals. She acknowledges the challenges of entrepreneurship but remains motivated by the support of those who encourage her mission. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, going to the gym, and walking. Looking to the future, she aims to expand her reach globally through uplifting speeches and motivational messages, striving to impact as many lives as possible through self-love and enlightenment.
