Hillary A. Rush, MBA, brings a rare blend of analytical rigor, creative vision and heartfelt dedication to the world of health care marketing and consulting. Her career reflects a steady progression through influential leadership roles that have allowed her to shape strategy, inspire teams and contribute meaningfully to patient-centered innovation. Known for her ability to navigate complexity with clarity, she has helped organizations chart new paths forward during times of change, earning respect for her collaborative leadership style and strategic foresight. 

Ms. Rush’s academic foundation has been central to her professional growth. She earned a Master of Business Administration in marketing and strategic management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, following a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry with a minor in Spanish from Union College. Her studies allowed her to unite a passion for science with a talent for strategy, forming the basis for her career in health care consulting and marketing. That combination of skills has consistently informed her ability to lead projects that bridge patient needs with market opportunity. 

As vice president of marketing at Imbed Biosciences, Ms. Rush plays a key role in guiding brand development and expanding the company’s presence in the health care sector. She contributes to strategic initiatives that reflect both market demands and a long-standing commitment to improving outcomes for patients. Her approach to leadership emphasizes teamwork, thoughtful execution and the pursuit of innovation grounded in empathy. 

Prior to joining Imbed Biosciences, Ms. Rush held several prominent positions that shaped her multifaceted expertise. As vice president of global marketing for ostomy care at Convatec, she led efforts to revitalize the division after a period of organizational transition. Her leadership contributed to renewed cohesion, energized product development and restored trust across global teams. Before this, she was general manager for the United States and senior client service partner at A-Connect, where she was responsible for overseeing the firm’s entire U.S. business. Her work at A-Connect demonstrated her skill in fostering inclusive work cultures and delivering measurable performance improvements for both clients and internal teams. 

Ms. Rush also founded Ridge Pointe Consulting, a firm she launched during her time abroad in Switzerland. This venture allowed her to reengage with consulting while supporting her husband’s professional relocation, and it provided an opportunity to advise a wide range of clients on business strategy. Earlier in her career, she held successive roles at Convatec and Bristol-Myers Squibb, where she honed her expertise in marketing, global strategy, product development and risk management. These roles reinforced her dedication to serving people living with chronic conditions and strengthened her belief in the power of well-executed marketing to drive better health outcomes. 

Ms. Rush is a member of Women In Business Network and previously supported fundraising efforts for UHMLA. Beyond work, she prioritizes time with her family and enjoys yoga, reading and hiking as part of her personal wellness routine. As a mother of four, she balances her professional responsibilities with a strong commitment to family life. 

Looking to the future, Ms. Rush aims to further integrate her consulting experience with her strategic marketing expertise to contribute to the growth of Imbed Biosciences. She remains focused on advancing innovation and building meaningful partnerships that serve both patients and providers.
