Ms. Rush’s academic foundation has been central to her professional development. She earned a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in marketing and strategic management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, following a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry, with a minor in Spanish, from Union College. This multidisciplinary background—uniting science, strategy, and communication—has anchored her work leading initiatives that bridge patient needs with market opportunities.

As vice president of marketing at Imbed Biosciences, a growth‑stage biomedical company specializing in advanced wound care devices and biomaterial technologies, Ms. Rush oversees strategy, brand management, digital marketing, communications, and customer service. She plays a key role in expanding the company’s presence in the health care sector and contributes to initiatives that reflect both market demands and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. Her leadership emphasizes teamwork, thoughtful execution, and marketing innovation to differentiate Imbed’s clinical value in a competitive and rapidly evolving marketplace.

Prior to joining Imbed Biosciences, Ms. Rush held several high‑impact positions that shaped her broad expertise. As vice president of global marketing for Ostomy Care at Convatec, she led efforts to revitalize the division after a period of organizational transition, restoring cohesion across teams, energizing product development efforts, and launching their first major product offering in over a decade. Earlier in her career, she was general manager for the U.S. and senior client service partner at the global consultancy A-Connect, where she oversaw business development, managed a portfolio of pharmaceutical strategy and transformation engagements, and led the firm’s U.S. operations. Her contributions reflected a commitment to inclusive culture‑building and measurable business improvement for clients and internal teams alike.

Ms. Rush also founded Ridge Pointe Consulting, a firm she launched while living in Switzerland and led for more than six years. This venture gave her the flexibility to spend meaningful time with her young children while taking on new career challenges and advising clients across marketing, product launches, and business strategy. Earlier in her career, she held successive roles at Convatec—then a subsidiary of Bristol Myers Squibb—where she developed expertise in health care professional and consumer marketing, as well as global strategy and business risk management. She played a pivotal role in Convatec’s divestment from BMS, leading work on the offer memorandum, investor presentations, and data room, and later serving as an internal PMO lead overseeing cross-functional ‘Day One Readiness’ planning and execution during the divestiture. These experiences strengthened her dedication to improving the lives of people living with chronic conditions and reinforced her belief in the power of well‑executed marketing and program leadership to drive better health outcomes.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Rush has contributed to fundraising initiatives for UHMLA, an organization that deploys volunteer surgeons and medical professionals to provide health care to underserved communities across Latin America. She prioritizes time with her family and enjoys yoga, reading, and hiking as part of her personal wellness practice. As a mother of four, she balances career leadership with a strong commitment to family life.
