CHRIS PEQUET

Chris Pequet

Chris Pequet is renowned as a real estate broker serving clients in the Western suburbs of Chicago, an area she and her family have called home for more than 40 years. She pursued an education at Michigan State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in communications and advertising in 1976. After a friend suggested that she pursue a real estate license due to her background in marketing and advertising, Ms. Pequet realized her talent for the field and began working part-time as a realtor at Prudential Real Estate in 1979.

When her son began kindergarten, Ms. Pequet transitioned to selling for Prudential Real Estate in a full-time capacity and remained with the brokerage until 2001. In 2001, she co-founded Premier Partners, for which she served as a managing partner of the company until 2012. Since 2001, she has been active with Village Sotheby’s Realty and has conducted business as a member of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty since 2018. Ms. Pequet is proud to be recognized as the top-selling agent in her office and the 10th-highest selling agent in her network.

Attributing her career success to “simple hard work,” Ms. Pequet is constantly striving to live up to her reputation for empathy and integrity so that she may better serve her clients. In the coming years, she plans to maintain or grow the volume of her business transactions, retiring only when she knows that she no longer enjoys the work. A member of the board of her local Chamber of Commerce, she participates on her local school board, in addition to her work establishing and funding Red, White and Blues, a veterans’ support network. Honored extensively for her excellence in sales, she is an eight-time recipient of a National Five-Star Service Award. Ms. Pequet has been celebrated as a Notable Real Estate Broker by Crain and was lauded among Chicago Magazine’s 2019 Top 100 Real Estate Professionals.

Moving forward, Ms. Pequet plans to her work and maintain her great reputation. She plans to keep her level of business up, if not growing. She plans to continue until she no longer enjoys the work, but for now, she loves it.
