Anjali Sidhu

As the founder and chief executive officer of OMNISTAR in Westborough, Massachusetts, since 2024, Anjali Bhagia Sidhu is well-versed in talent acquisition, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and digital transformation for businesses. With expertise in human resources and talent scouting, she initially became involved in the industry because of her desire to improve the recruitment process. Ms. Sidhu also wanted to ensure that more women were represented in the workforce and specifically in leadership positions, as she believes this will accelerate change and drive positive developments in the business sector.

In the coming years, Ms. Sidhu plans to grow OMNISTAR into a standout talent solution company, emphasizing its status as a woman-owned and woman-run company. She envisions the business growing to a $100 million valuation. For her professional accomplishments and devotion to creating opportunities for women in business, Ms. Sidhu received the Women Empowerment Award from the Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce in 2023.

In 1997, Ms. Sidhu graduated from the Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India, earning a bachelor’s degree in engineering and computer science. Parallel to her formal academic pursuits, she is highly credentialed in her field, holding numerous professional certifications in recruiting, human resources, and talent acquisition. In 2014, she became certified as a social and new media recruiter, a social sourcing recruiter, a diversity and inclusion recruiter, and a certified internet recruiter, all through Advanced Internet Recruitment Strategies (AIRS). In addition, AIRS awarded her a professional recruiter certification. In 2017, Ms. Sidhu completed the Associate of Career Thought Leaders program through Human Resources Management and Services. In 2023, she earned a diversity, equity, and inclusion certification, better known as DEI, through Cornell University and completed the Developing Executive Presence training through LinkedIn.

Alongside her primary role with OMNISTAR, Ms. Sidhu has been a guest speaker on women’s empowerment and employment participation at Tufts University since 2016. She has also shared her knowledge and perspective as a speaker for the Indian Institute of Technology Association of Greater New England. She began her career as a programmer for Systems America Inc. in 1997, rising to become a team lead with the company in 1999. Following this role, Ms. Sidhu worked as a group lead with Newgen Software Technologies Limited from 2000 to 2002 and founded Coding People in 2003. From 2012 to 2016, she was the head of data warehouse and cloud practice hiring for Virtusa Corp., after which she became the company’s head of health care segment hiring from 2016 to 2021. In 2022, Ms. Sidhu worked as the global head of health care and life science segment hiring for Virtusa Corp., and from 2022 to 2024, she was the president of talent acquisition for Innova Solutions.

While at Innova Solutions, Ms. Sidhu considers her contribution to the company’s branding to be among her most notable professional highlights. She helped develop the brand identity and contributed to the company’s becoming a partner and employer of choice. Innova Solutions was even invited to participate in the World Economic Forum. Ms. Sidhu attributes her success to her parents, who supported her and believed in her dreams. She also credits her husband, who has been a significant source of encouragement and support.

Proud of her proven track record in the industry, Ms. Sidhu is passionate about empowering other professionals to reach their career goals and achieve their full potential. After starting her own company in India and managing multiple businesses simultaneously, she was forced to close her companies and relocate to the United States with her husband in 2005. Despite this massive setback, Ms. Sidhu started fresh and continued to pursue her goals, achieving even greater success. Sought after for mastery, she has been invited to speak on multiple podcasts about the use of artificial intelligence in recruitment and other topics.
