
Over the years, Ms. Christensen has shared her passion through a variety of publications. She authored “Let’s Laugh” in 2008, “Road to Rhyme in the United States” in 2006, and “Violin Bottles, Banjos, Guitars and Other Novelty Glass,” in 1995, as well as “Violin Bottles,” and “Car Faces.” She has also edited the newsletter for the Violin Bottle Collector’s Association in both the U.S. and Canada.In recognition of her hard work and dedication, Ms. Christensen earned an Outstanding Citizenship Award from the American Legion and a Good Citizen’s Certificate from the Daughters of the American Revolution, now the National Society of the American Revolution, in 1957. Her achievements were highlighted in numerous editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in Finance and Business, and Who’s Who in the West. She attributes her success to her husband.Since her husband’s passing, Ms. Christensen has moved to a gated community, where she buys jigsaw puzzles and donates them to the community clubhouse for the neighbors to enjoy. Her other hobbies include collecting violin-shaped bottles and writing.
