Linda Jorgensen

Leveraging more than two decades of excellence in the alternative health field, Linda Jorgensen has earned distinction as a clinical hypnotherapist with Linda Jorgensen Hypnotherapy in Irvine, California. Specializing in hypnotherapy and biofeedback, she has focused her efforts on treating people struggling with anxiety and autism in her role since 2020. To remain abreast of changes and advancements in her field, she is a valued member of the International Hypnosis Association, the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback and the American Naturopathic Medical Association.

Well-qualified in her field, Ms. Jorgensen is a certified biofeedback specialist. Biofeedback is the process of gaining greater awareness of many physiological functions of one’s own body by using electronic or other instruments and manipulating those systems. Ms. Jorgensen is also a certified hypnotherapist in the rapid transformational method. A pioneering therapy based on neuroscience that has the potential to offer fast and effective results, rapid transformational therapy is a hybrid therapy combining the most beneficial principles of hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, neurolinguistic programming and regression therapy.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Jorgensen began her career as a real estate agent for residential housing in 1997. She then worked in the field of biofeedback for a notable 12 years, assisting people with the emotional side of having a cancer diagnosis. Ms. Jorgensen feels a personal commitment and responsibility to each patient she works with, as she lived through a similar situation when her late husband was diagnosed with cancer. During this time, she was undergoing her training and used her newfound skills, along with naturopathic and homeopathic treatments, to aid his journey. She was able to provide him with comfort and care until he passed away in 2008, and she continued her commitment to hypnotherapy and biofeedback after witnessing the positive effects it had on him.

To prepare for her professional journey, Ms. Jorgensen earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from California State University, Long Beach. Subsequently, she attained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. In the coming years, she intends to continue working with children on the autism spectrum, guiding them to overcome and adapt to their challenges through various channels, including hypnotherapy. With this sentiment, Ms. Jorgensen’s advice to up-and-coming professionals is to choose a field and niche that you love, as passion is what propels professional excellence each day on the job.

A distinguished Marquis listee, Ms. Jorgensen presently resides in Irvine, California. She is the doting grandmother to five grandchildren, with whom she enjoys spending quality time when she is not working. Connecting her work and personal life, one of her grandsons is on the autism spectrum, and she is currently working on a strategy to help him speak clearly. She also enjoys reading and helping to plan and design weddings.
