Kendria Brown

Kendria Brown has excelled as an artificial intelligence consultant and trainer at Abaka AI since 2025, where she is responsible for evaluating and grading images generated by AI models. Her role involves setting rubrics for prompts, analyzing prompt details for accuracy and completeness, assessing instruction following, quality and human-AI alignment, comparing images for consistency and differences, justifying grading decisions and identifying likenesses and variations. She provides critical insights to improve AI models, ensuring outputs meet rigorous standards. In her current campaign, Ms. Brown develops detailed checklists and rubrics to evaluate image outputs against specific criteria, a process that requires both technical acumen and creative problem-solving.

Prior to joining Abaka AI, Ms. Brown was active as an AI trainer at Alignerr from 2025 to 2026. In this capacity, she contributed to the training of artificial intelligence systems on a smaller scale, building foundational expertise in the field. Concurrently, she worked as a quality rater at RWS Holdings plc from 2025 to 2026, where she was trained in search engine optimization and general AI concepts. Her responsibilities during this time included evaluating digital content for relevance and accuracy, further honing her analytical skills.

During the same period, Ms. Brown also served as a digital annotation expert at Mercor from 2025 to 2026. This position required her to annotate data sets used in machine learning applications, supporting the development of more accurate AI models through meticulous attention to detail.

In 2024 to 2025, Ms. Brown held the position of substance abuse counselor at Management & Training Corporation. Working hands-on with social issues in a correctional facility, she provided counseling services to individuals struggling with substance abuse. She remains a licensed counselor and considers this experience pivotal in shaping her understanding of human behavior and communication—skills that have proven invaluable in her subsequent roles.

In 2020, Ms. Brown was an outbound operator at Molina Healthcare Inc., managing remote communications for state assistance health care plans such as Medicaid.

From 2018 to 2020, Ms. Brown found success as a benefits counselor at Mercer LLC. She guided clients through employer group benefits applications—including Medicare—and oversaw related processes with diligence and empathy.

Beyond her primary academic efforts, Ms. Brown has fortified her skill set through extensive professional development, obtaining certifications such as the AI Applications certificate and the Artificial Intelligence Practitioner Certificate from IBM in 2025, a substance abuse counselor license and counselor intern license in 2024, a Google Cybersecurity Certificate from Coursera Inc. in 2024, a Google Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Certificate from Coursera Inc. in 2023, and certifications from the LinkedIn Corporation in 2022.

Ms. Brown’s motivation stems from her desire to use creativity effectively while continually expanding her knowledge base.
