Jewel Price, MBA, BSIT, AAS (CIS)

Since founding The Jewel Price Corporation in 2020, Jewel Price, MBA, BSIT, AAS (CIS), has distinguished herself as an author and entrepreneur. Through this organization, she has dedicated her efforts to education and empowerment, with a focus on helping individuals overcome challenges such as substance abuse, alcoholism and poverty. Ms. Price’s shared mission with the company is rooted in motivating people to adopt healthier lifestyles, offering motivational content, healthy recipes and Christian resources through her website. Her commitment to service is further reflected in her collaboration with food banks, providing essential support to those in need.

An esteemed writer, Ms. Price published “Help Is on the Way: A Collection of Religious Inspirational Quotes and Biblical Scriptures” with Christian Faith Publishing in 2025. Authored approximately 10 years ago, the book’s completion was delayed due to her responsibilities as a caregiver for family members. This period of waiting required great patience from Ms. Price but also deepened her dedication to caregiving and reinforced her resolve to help others. Those themes have become central elements to both her writing and professional pursuits.

Prior to establishing The Jewel Price Corporation, Ms. Price held government positions and was involved in public service. However, she ultimately discovered her true calling in serving others directly. Ms. Price’s passion for caregiving is evident in her ongoing support for a family member with autism and her long-standing role as a deaconess at her church. She finds great fulfillment in working alongside others who are committed to selflessness and service.

Drawn to a path of lifelong learning, Ms. Price has been supported by her academic achievements, beginning with an associate degree in information systems in 2009. She followed that by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in computer networking in 2010. Subsequently, Ms. Price earned a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in acquisition in 2015. Throughout more than 15 years of higher education, she maintained an exemplary record, achieving nearly a 4.0 average and earning recognition from a worldwide honor society.

Ms. Price’s pursuit of knowledge extended beyond formal degrees. She holds several state food certifications, including in management, alcohol safety distribution and food safety distribution. Additionally, Ms. Price is certified in technical learning and as a Microsoft Office specialist and has completed coursework at the Howard University School of Divinity. Although she was unable to pursue theological studies fully due to caregiving responsibilities for her grandmother, she remains determined to continue her education in theology.

Faith and family have been central influences throughout Ms. Price’s life and career. Raised by her grandmother, she learned the values of compassion, community service and resilience from an early age. Ms. Price’s upbringing emphasized church attendance and the importance of helping others without an expectation of reward. These early experiences shaped her enduring commitment to service.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Price has contributed significantly through civic engagement as a volunteer with Food & Friends, supporting efforts to provide nutritious meals to those facing illness or hardship. She shares her life with her partner, Artius Mark Robinson, and her son, Jonathan Price. Ms. Price’s personal interests include researching natural healing medicines, watching historical documentaries, healthy eating and traveling. Her early work experiences — such as assisting at a hair salon during her adolescence — helped develop her networking skills and reinforced her desire to help others find employment.

Moving forward, Ms. Price plans to open a restaurant and mobile kitchen that will provide free meals for those experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. Inspired by positive feedback from community cooking events at major retailers, she envisions expanding this initiative into a permanent landmark over time. Ms. Price also aspires to establish a natural hair salon that will offer chemical-free hair care and manicures while promoting health, wellness and charitable outreach. Each of her future endeavors is sure to embody and carry forward the principles of compassion, service and empowerment that have defined both her personal journey and her professional legacy.
