JENNIFER D'ALESSANDRO

Jennifer D’Alessandro is the head of ad sales and marketing for Future Today, Inc., a media and technology company offering premium family streaming channels, including LEGO, FilmRise, and HappyKids. She has enjoyed more than 20 years of success in media ad sales, having begun her career in traditional television ad sales as a sales assistant for Turner Broadcasting in 2000. Joining Fox Cable Networks in 2002, she spent two years as a sales planner before moving to FX in 2004. Between 2004 and 2015, Ms. D’Alessandro was an accounts executive at FX and its offshoot networks FXX, FXM, and FXNOW. She was named director of ad sales for The Weather Channel in 2016, rising to senior director in 2019.

Ms. D’Alessandro has been with Future Today, Inc. since 2019. She joined the company as Midwest regional lead for CTV brand partnerships in 2019 and was promoted to head of sales the following year. Outside her work in television and streaming advertising, she is the owner of Be. by Jen, an independent career coaching venture offering resume reviews, interview practice, and networking opportunities to clients across industries since 2015.

Ms. D’Alessandro holds a Bachelor of Science in sociology from Illinois State University and is active in numerous professional organizations, including CHIEF, the Chicago Advertising Federation and Media Gals of Chicago. Since 2017, she has been a volunteer mentor for She Runs It, a group dedicated to promoting women in advertising and media industry leadership roles. In addition to her advocacy for others in her field, Ms. D’Alessandro is dedicated to supporting her children as a member of the Jefferson Elementary School PTA and a coach for the Elmhurst Eagles Cheer Association. She credits her professional success to her dedication and drive to become the best she can be at anything she sets her mind to and hopes to continue her career rise over the next decade or more.
