Holding considerable expertise in business growth, Elizabeth Ann Yellman attributes much of her success to her hard work and dedication, as well as to her excellent education. She first earned an associate degree in medicine from the Concorde Career Institute in Florida in 1993, before achieving an Associate of Applied Science in business management from Brown Mackie College in 2006. That same year, she joined National American University and began her career as an account manager at Waltz Business Solutions. She ultimately obtained her Bachelor of Science in applied management in 2009.
Leaving Waltz Business Solutions in 2008, Ms. Yellman became a sales consultant for Coverall Health Based Cleaning System from 2008 to 2010. She then served as the business development manager and a furniture medic for Olde Fort Restoration, a damage restoration company, from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, she founded Disinfecting For You, Inc., a cleaning company that services residential and commercial properties in northern Kentucky. As the president, Ms. Yellman grew the company from a team of two to a team of 20 and she is grateful to her excellent managers whose skill and care allow her to focus on growing the business and making sure that everything is running smoothly.
Ms. Yellman has put considerable effort into giving back to her community as well. She provides free cleaning services to cancer patients and seniors and regularly donates to the local women’s and homeless shelters and her local church. Furthermore, she is a member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Residential Cleaning Services International, and ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association. Looking toward the future, Ms. Yellman hopes to open two additional locations in Ohio and Indiana while making plans for her eventual retirement.
For excellence in her career, Ms. Yellman was named a 2018 Entrepreneur by Entrepreneur magazine and ranked 330 out of 360 entrepreneurs by Entrepreneur 360. Her company has received accolades as well, being listed among the Best Entrepreneur Companies in America by Entrepreneur magazine and the Top Rated Cleaning Company in Northern Kentucky by a local magazine in 2019. Also in 2019, Disinfecting For You was ranked 12 out of 100 and presented with the Best of Small Business Award by the Small Business Expo. The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce recognized them among the Top 5 for Business Growth in the small business category in 2019 and in the medium sized business category in 2020.
