Chelsea Wichmann

Committed to amplifying movements that require visibility and accountability, Chelsea Wichmann has served as the chief executive officer and executive producer at MovingMovements Productions since 2016. Over the past decade, she has guided the company from its inception as a for-profit production arm to a multifaceted enterprise supporting clients whose work represents meaningful change. Ms. Wichmann manages all aspects of the business, including research, client communications, layout approvals and production. In addition to her leadership at MovingMovements Productions, she also led Wichmann Enterprises. This organization was initially established as an umbrella company for her various products and played a pivotal role in supporting her early ventures before its planned dissolution.

In her position as an executive producer, Ms. Wichmann has overseen content creation for such clients as Nutrafol and Vivant, a company founded by the scientist who developed the prescription skin care medication Retin A. She helps organizations articulate their stories through media that drives social impact. Her production work is distinguished by its focus on bridging entertainment with advocacy, using storytelling to address issues ranging from trauma to corporate transparency.

Ms. Wichmann began her career as a fashion model in 2010 in an unconventional way; she was discovered on the street by Kayce Armstrong, a former Giorgio Armani muse known for creating fashion with recycled materials. This introduction led to collaborations with stylist Danny Santiago and eventually to agency representation with Next Model Management, Front Management, Ford Models under Paul Rowland, and Women Model Management. These formative years exposed Ms. Wichmann to both the creative mentorship of industry leaders and the challenges faced by those working behind the scenes. She has continued modeling in a freelance capacity since 2015, providing her with creative fulfillment and financial support for her nonprofit endeavors.

In addition to her work as a model and producer, Ms. Wichmann founded BreakingSilence V in 2011 and has led the not-for-profit company since then. Aimed at addressing social issues through creative media and outreach, BreakingSilence V’s origins can be traced back to her early modeling years, when she worked alongside leading creatives while confronting difficult topics that were often avoided within the industry at the time. Inspired by these experiences and the mentorship of figures like Kate Lanphear and Bruce Weber, Ms. Wichmann spearheaded projects such as “Spell of Emotion,” which evolved into an initiative dedicated to giving voice to silenced individuals. As BreakingSilence V expanded, it incorporated visual platforms from the fashion industry to raise awareness and, in 2017, formally integrated medical programs for youth.

The foundation for Ms. Wichmann’s work can be found in her academic background. She earned an Associate of Arts in early childhood development from Tallahassee State College. This education informed her later efforts in developing clinical-level protections for underserved youth and designing outreach programs with BreakingSilence V.

Earlier in her life, Ms. Wichmann focused on conceptualizing complex, less-discussed topics in poetic ways. She believes her professional success can be attributed to the evolution from that earlier approach towards developing more tangible solutions that address real needs. Ms. Wichmann is distinguished by her genuine investment in justice, an attitude that transcends personal interest. Guided by this drive, she has pursued two distinct yet complementary paths in her career: one focused on emotional advocacy and another on practical support for those affected by trauma or injustice. She recognizes the importance of services tied to both paths and demonstrates a consistent passion for both professional excellence and personal connection.

Among her many achievements, Ms. Wichmann is especially proud of receiving the first standing ovation ever in Miami’s fashion scene. This significant milestone stands as an early testament to her ability to move audiences through visual storytelling.

In the years to come, Ms. Wichmann is eager to complete and launch several medical programs she has been developing. She also hopes to expand into short film and independent film production, which would provide opportunities to explore deeper emotional storytelling. Ms. Wichmann has started development on numerous other programs, including a model safety seminar that she plans to present to modeling agencies. Her ambitions underscore a dedication to artistic innovation and social responsibility that has earned her ongoing recognition.
