Cheli Webb

Cheli Webb has built a distinguished career in the field of mental health, with more than two and a half decades of experience. She is the founder and chief executive officer of Pathway to Empowerment, where she specializes in mental health, substance use, trauma, life coaching and consulting. Additionally, Ms. Webb’s expertise extends to managing residential facilities and helping companies enhance productivity and strengthen their teams through her consulting services.

In addition to her leadership role at Pathway to Empowerment, Ms. Webb offers three courses focused on helping clients grow through self-discovery, healing and strength. Her work includes customizable therapy, coaching sessions, and speaking engagements aimed at empowering individuals. She also dedicates a significant portion of her time to training police officers to recognize and address mental health disorders, a role she finds particularly rewarding.

Ms. Webb’s career began with a focus on nursing, but her path shifted when she became a parent. Seeking a profession that allowed her to spend quality time with her family, she pursued psychology and later specialized in trauma healing. Building her educational foundation, she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Utah University and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Prescott College. She also completed coursework in nursing at Dixie State College, now Utah Tech University. Moreover, she holds certifications as a clinical mental health counselor in Utah and a Medical Device Regulation certification.

As an active member of her professional community, Ms. Webb dedicates her time to industry-related organizations such as POCA and serves on the board for the National Counselor Examination under the National Board for Certified Counselors Inc. She is also an accomplished author, having written “Walking Through the Worst of It” and “The Girl Who Couldn’t Cry: A Healing Journey Through Trauma,” both of which explore themes of healing and resilience, underscoring her dedication to guiding others through their own journeys of adversity.

Ms. Webb’s passion for promoting well-being extends to her fellow clinicians. She believes it is crucial for clinicians to be self-confident, self-loving, and capable of supporting themselves and others. Through her leadership, she empowers others to reach their dreams by guiding them to recognize and embrace their greatest assets. What she finds most rewarding in her profession is witnessing transformation in others. Ms. Webb takes immense joy in seeing people change, watching the light return to their eyes, and restoring hope in those who once felt all hope was lost.

Setting herself apart in her field with her approach to leadership and support, Ms. Webb believes in empowering people to be their authentic selves, offering support from alongside them rather than from above. Striving to be others’ biggest cheerleader, she encourages them to fulfill this same role for others. Over the years, many of Ms. Webb’s clinicians have followed her across organizations because of how supported and valued they feel in her environment. She attributes her success to the belief that every individual needs to be loved and feel loved.

Outside of her career, Ms. Webb leads a fulfilling personal life. She has been married for more than 25 years and is a devoted mother to five sons and five daughters. In her leisure time, she enjoys baking specialty cakes, practicing yoga, meditating, and traveling twice a year to immerse herself in different cultures. Looking ahead, Ms. Webb aims to revolutionize treatment approaches for first responders by developing programs that address the unique traumas they face daily. Her vision is rooted in her belief that everyone deserves love and support, a principle that has been her guiding force throughout her distinguished career. She is also focused on launching new courses and additionally looks forward to more public speaking engagements. Ms. Webb plans to continue developing and finalizing her own program in the future.
