As a highly accomplished professional and entrepreneur, Cathy C. Bonczek has found success as the owner of CCB Communications LLC, which she established in 2001 in Stamford, Connecticut. At her firm, she assists senior executives in refining their high-stakes communication skills. Specializing in executive coaching, she helps her clients deliver leadership messages, give speeches, make sales, and raise funds. Offering her services globally, Ms. Bonczek conducts online communications training sessions with financial business leaders, for instance, and serves clients in Europe, Asia, and the United States.

Ms. Bonczek believes her accomplishments, in part, are the culmination of her ability to provide direct and actionable feedback to senior corporate leadership who often do not receive such honest feedback. With a unique talent for meeting people where they are in their professional development, she gives salient advice. Since 2022, she has been an official member of the Forbes Coaches Council, an invitation-only organization comprised of leading business coaches and career coaches. Despite maintaining a single-employee company on her own, she has managed to build a lucrative and comfortable business that enables her to support herself while raising her family. Believing that her competitive advantage lies in her profound understanding of the business and financial sectors, as well as her unique capability to apply constructive criticism, Ms. Bonczek takes great pride in her work and enjoys facilitating the professional development of highly accomplished individuals.

Prior to launching her business, Ms. Bonczek studied at Cornell University, graduating in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She gained administrative experience as the vice president and senior area sales manager for the Bank of Boston from 1989 to 1993, later serving as a regional marketing and distribution executive for NatWest Bank from 1993 to 1996. From 1997 to 2001, Ms. Bonczek was the managing director of Rogen International. Remaining committed to her professional development throughout her career, she is a narrative coach certified practitioner and holds a Social Style & Versatility instructor certification through TRACOM. She maintained membership as a class officer in the Cornell Alumni Association and served as the past president of the New York Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Outside of her primary endeavors, Ms. Bonczek enjoys giving back to her community, supporting Her Children’s Special Schools and the Wildlife Orphanage. Additionally, she is a past member of the advisory board for The Moment Institute as well as the Connecticut Wildlife Federation.

As a devoted mother, Ms. Bonczek launched CCB Communications LLC after adopting her first son. Although becoming a mother was challenging, she refused to give up on her professional career after leaving her job in banking, instead carving her own path and betting on herself. Among the important aspects of her job, she is proud to assist professional women in improving their communication skills in the male-dominated financial industry. Ms. Bonczek plans to continue enjoying the ongoing growth and development of her business and is currently training a contract coach. She hopes to pass on her knowledge so that her work can continue beyond her own achievements, and, in the long term, looks forward to having multiple coaches working for her.

In her personal time, Ms. Bonczek sings, plays piano and the harp, paints, draws, knits, and writes. She is working on sharing her knowledge by publishing a book focused on presentation skills for empowered business leaders. Hoping to leave a legacy as an expert in her field, Ms. Bonczek considers it equally important to be remembered for her warm and genuine demeanor toward her clients. Every workday, she lives to share and pass on her business tagline: “The art of executive communications.”
