Carley Rae is the chief executive officer of the Realty Rae Group, an award-winning residential real estate team based out of Las Vegas and serving communities throughout Nevada. Before entering the real estate industry, Ms. Rae found success in the fine dining and hospitality industry as an employee of Caesar’s Palace. While at Caesar’s Palace, she rose to become the first female captain in company history. Though poised to continue her rise, her son had recently entered kindergarten, and his schedule changes led her to consider a career change that would allow her to spend more time with him. A former national-level debater with a natural eye for detail and a passion for customer service, Ms. Rae moved into real estate and quickly found it to be a perfect fit for her existing skills.
As the head of the Realty Rae Group, Ms. Rae leads a diverse team of 12 agents who specialize in residential sales and listings. In addition to coordinating and mentoring those on her team, she continues to work directly with clients, including outreach to prospective clients; comprehensive sales and open house preparation with photography, videography and cleaning services; and follow-up with existing clients. Her team training focuses on a big-picture view of the industry, covering market trends and statistics, sales strategies, and predictive sales strategies such as relocation tours.
Ms. Rae’s commitment to her team, clients, and industry has earned her numerous awards and recognitions, and in 2022 she was named one of the Top 25 Women in Real Estate, an honor she considers to be a career highlight. She has appeared on the cover of MYVEGAS magazine, was featured in Top Producer Magazine, and appeared in six episodes of “The American Dream: Las Vegas” in 2021. The same year, Ms. Rae was nominated to be in the 30 Under 30 list of top-producing realtors nationwide.
Since launching the Realty Rae Group in 2019, Ms. Rae has developed a reputation for outstanding and personal customer service. One of her professional highlights was working with a client who had been searching for a home for more than five years. In just under two weeks, Ms. Rae had helped said client locate a home, and she completed closing in less than a month. In order to keep abreast of new developments in her field, Ms. Rae is active in numerous local and national professional organizations and networking groups, including the Women’s Council of Realtors, the LVR Leadership Association and LVR Leadership Council, and the Trans Association of Realtors.
Ms. Rae attributes her success in her field and as an entrepreneur to learning to stay strong and overcome in the face of adversity. She remembers facing numerous challenges as a young parent and quickly developed an attitude that failure was never an option. Armed with the mindset that success was essential, she felt that her family and her past triumphs were core motivators to continue to grow. In addition to her attitude and values, Ms. Rae credits her success to her family and personal support network, including her parents, friends, and colleagues, who encouraged her to pursue real estate and helped with childcare and other needs so she could meet clients and go to business appointments.
Outside her work with the Realty Rae Group, Ms. Rae is committed to her community and works with several local charities and philanthropic projects, including Project 150, which provides clothing and other necessities to displaced Las Vegas area youth, and the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, benefiting pediatric cancer research and treatment. In the coming years, Ms. Rae looks forward to continuing to build and invest in her team at the Realty Rae Group and expanding their reach to better serve more clients and communities in the future.
