Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Perri is deeply committed to civic initiatives. She founded Brows For The Brave, a program offering complimentary services to individuals affected by cancer, inspired by an encounter with a cancer patient in her early years of business. Additionally, she and her family have donated over $170,000 to Vaughan Hospital, now Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, funding an ICU room in memory of her mother. Reflecting on her path, Ms. Perri’s career began in the basement of her home with a single laser machine. Through perseverance and innovation, she has expanded Skinprovement into multiple locations across Canada. She is particularly proud of receiving the Young Entrepreneur Under 40 Award from the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce, which reinforced her belief in the value of hard work and resilience.
Ms. Perri attributes her success to her children, who serve as her greatest motivation. They inspire her to lead by example through dedication and perseverance. She also feels fortunate to have a supportive husband who shares in her vision, and together, they have cultivated a work culture that extends beyond business. Her team members have developed a strong sisterly bond, and through mentorship and empowerment, several have advanced into management roles, with two becoming part owners of a new location.
Looking to the future, Ms. Perri envisions expanding Skinprovement to create opportunities for aspiring business owners while growing Brows For The Brave to serve communities across Canada and eventually the United States. She is committed to empowering individuals, particularly women, to pursue business ownership within the skincare industry. By fostering a supportive environment and dismantling perceived glass ceilings, she ensures that those with a passion for entrepreneurship have the resources and mentorship needed to succeed.
