Highly experienced in the nonprofit sector, Artessa M. Campbell is the president of With GOD Crew Inc., based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Since its establishment in 2019, Ms. Campbell has led the charitable organization with a focus on community service and outreach.

With GOD Crew Inc. operates on five pillars: aid resources, education, motivation, opportunity, and salvation worldwide. These services are provided to the community free of charge, empowering individuals to discover and pursue their true calling. Ms. Campbell leads with the belief that everyone has a purpose and the potential to grow, achieve more, and ultimately give back rather than remain in a continuous role of receiving.

At the helm, Ms. Campbell collaborates with legal and financial advisers to enhance operational efficiency. She works closely with her mother, Sheila Wilson, who serves as vice president of With GOD Crew Inc., ensuring the organization’s mission remains aligned with its shared vision. Weekly mastermind meetings are a core component of their strategy, driving progress and innovation. The organization’s model prioritizes quick and efficient assistance so people do not have to wait for essential services. Additionally, it emphasizes preventative solutions to help individuals avoid difficult situations in the future.

Before founding With GOD Crew Inc., Ms. Campbell dedicated more than two decades of service to the U.S. Army. She served as senior communications director for the 18th Field Artillery Brigade at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, from 2014 to 2021 and was battalion communications chief for the 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Hovey, Korea, from 2012 to 2013. Ms. Campbell’s military career also includes service as a drill sergeant at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, from 2009 to 2012.

To prepare for her professional accomplishments, Ms. Campbell earned an Associate of Arts in business administration and management from Fayetteville Technical Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2023. Remaining dedicated to her continual education and professional growth, Ms. Campbell is pursuing an Executive Master of Business Administration at the Howard University School of Business.

Reflecting on her path, Ms. Campbell acknowledges she overcame early academic struggles. Despite limited college opportunities, her mother’s unwavering belief in her potential led her to junior college before she later enlisted in the Army to relieve financial burdens on her family. Ms. Campbell’s military service shaped her lifelong commitment to service beyond personal gain, culminating in the founding of With GOD Crew Inc., where she has reinvested personal prize winnings to support the organization’s operations.

In light of her service and leadership, Ms. Campbell has received prestigious awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal and Joint Service Medal. She attributes her success to God’s grace, prioritizing faith in every aspect of her life. She firmly believes that everything people need is already within them and encourages others to embrace this principle. Ms. Campbell credits the dedicated directors and staff of With GOD Crew Inc. for their unwavering support and commitment, as well as her 20-plus years of military service, which instilled the discipline and foundation that drive her organization’s grassroots mission.

Away from work, Ms. Campbell is a devoted mother who enjoys cooking and serving others. Looking to the future, she envisions significant national and global growth for With GOD Crew Inc., with a focus on expanding services across the United States and addressing homelessness through innovative housing solutions. Her long-term vision includes global outreach efforts to provide essential resources such as clean water and affordable housing.
