With a reputation for precision and a commitment to national security, Lisa A. Maraldo Lee has navigated some of the most complex cybersecurity landscapes within the federal defense sector. Her career has been defined by both operational excellence and a capacity to lead transformative change across military and civilian environments. As the command information systems security manager and alternate security control assessor at KBR Inc., she directs cybersecurity initiatives that uphold mission readiness and compliance for Department of Defense programs. Her work involves overseeing the Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework process and deliverables, guiding a team responsible for executing critical defense support functions. 

Ms. Maraldo Lee earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and management from PennWest California and holds an associate degree in accounting from the Community College of Allegheny County. This academic foundation in business and finance has equipped her with the strategic insight necessary to navigate cybersecurity from both technical and organizational perspectives. She holds multiple credentials, including certified information systems security professional and certified information security manager, affirming her technical expertise and leadership in information assurance. 

Prior to joining KBR, Ms. Maraldo Lee was the Marine Corps Intelligence Command information officer, successfully restructuring a fractured program. By instilling acquisition discipline and equipment accountability, she created a sustainable system that enabled her successor to have a clear, organized foundation. Her tenure at the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity as chief information officer was equally impactful. There, she led advancements in technology integration and ensured the secure and efficient delivery of intelligence operations. 

Ms. Maraldo Lee further refined her leadership approach at PEO EIS CIO in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, where she worked as a program information systems security manager. During this time, she developed scalable cybersecurity strategies and promoted interagency collaboration. Her long-term service as a Department of the Army civilian included assignments that positioned her as chief of the Technical Management and Operations Division for PM NSC and earlier as a computer scientist. Her early involvement in federal technology systems laid the groundwork for a career marked by innovation and accountability. 

Ms. Maraldo Lee professional contributions have been recognized through numerous awards, including three Superior Civilian Awards, two from the Army and one from the U.S. Marine Corps. She was honored with the Army’s Bronze Order of Mercury and received multiple Special Act Awards, acknowledging her role in achieving critical mission outcomes. These accolades reflect her ability to translate policy into practice and deliver operational results. 

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Maraldo Lee has been active in the community through volunteer service, including time as a youth basketball coach. She cites her children as her greatest inspiration, crediting them for fueling her perseverance and focus over the years. Her interests include painting, spending time with her dog and collecting Godzilla memorabilia, hobbies that reflect her creativity and sense of humor. 

As she transitions toward future opportunities in contractual work, Ms. Maraldo Lee remains committed to mentoring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. Her work continues to be guided by a sense of purpose, integrity and dedication to national service.
