
Monica E. Crishi, SPHR, has established herself as an accomplished professional in employee health and benefits, specializing in strategic human resources and skill training for personal development. Since 2024, she has excelled as an employee benefits advisor at the Marsh McLennan Agency in Texas. Prior to this, she was a client service team coach from 2022 to 2024 and an account executive from 2021 to 2024 at the same agency. Ms. Crishi’s journey with the Marsh McLennan Agency began as an account manager from 2020 to 2021, where she honed her skills in company culture and remote team building, effective change management, and regulatory compliance.
Ms. Crishi’s experience also includes working as a human resources contractor at the CECO Environmental Corporation from 2019 to 2020. In the same year, she served as the employee experience director at Outreach Health Services. Her career in human resources management was further solidified during her tenure as a human resources manager at Aramark from 2017 to 2018 and Champion Services TQC LLC from 2016 to 2017. From 2008 to 2016, Ms. Crishi served as an outreach and retention manager for the U.S. Marine Forces Reserve.
Ms. Crishi prepared for her professional success by establishing a solid academic foundation, earning a bachelor’s degree in medical studies and health care administration from King’s College in 2003 and a Master of Science in human resources management and services from Central Michigan University in 2014. Additionally, she holds several certifications, including a senior professional in human resources certification from HRCI, obtained in 2015, and an insurance agent certification from the Texas Department of Insurance, acquired in 2020.
As an active member of her industry, Ms. Crishi is involved with various organizations, including the North Texas Society for Human Resource Management, where she serves as a board member. She is a professional member of the Servant Leadership Reception with Business Navigators and participates in the Pleasant Sub Dream Team Women’s Network. Her civic engagements include volunteering with the SALUTE Veterans Colleague Resource Group at MMA SW and participating in annual events with GallantFew.
Reflecting on her path, Ms. Crishi’s military service began after college, where she developed strong leadership and team-building skills. Her professional journey is deeply rooted in her military service. She served as a special projects coordinator on active duty in the U.S. Army from 2004 to 2008, which provided her with invaluable skills in leadership development and team building. Following her honorable discharge, she utilized the GI Bill to earn a master’s degree, demonstrating her commitment to growth and service. She later played a pivotal role in developing the standard operating procedure for the Marine Corps Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program, addressing critical reintegration challenges, mental health support, and family dynamics for returning troops. She credits her success to her commitment to authenticity and her keen ability to understand the dynamics of the people or groups she interacts with, always approaching them with a sense of respect. Ms. Crishi is proud of embracing her true self in every situation, allowing her genuine personality to shine through.
Looking to the future, Ms. Crishi is committed to making a positive impact on community health by empowering individuals to navigate health insurance complexities effectively. She envisions expanding her business to focus on wellness initiatives and collaboration with nonprofit organizations to enhance community well-being. As a board member of the North Texas Society for Human Resource Management, she aims to support human resources professionals by providing access to education resources and large market opportunities, particularly in rural areas of North Texas and Oklahoma.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Crishi is dedicated to fostering partnerships among community service organizations to facilitate innovative solutions for accessible health care. Her goal is to create more value for communities by reaching out through conferences and educational initiatives that make health care more affordable and comprehensible for all individuals involved.
