Renee C. LeBoeuf has always possessed a strong aptitude for mathematics and logistical and computer skills, leveraging her skill set to help her propel forward in her career. Inspired to delve into the technology sector by a college professor, she attended George Mason University and received a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and statistics in 1983. Thereafter, she graduated from Central Michigan University with a Master of Science in public administration in 1988. Deciding to continue her edification, Ms. LeBoeuf completed a graduate program management course at the Defense Systems Management College in 1990 and, later, a graduate leadership development program at the University of Maryland in 2006. After accruing many years in her industry, Ms. LeBoeuf participated in the graduate coaching program at the Institute for Life Coach Training in 2017.
Now recognized as an information technology and logistics specialist, Ms. LeBoeuf is bolstered by a comprehensive background in military services and defense, having spent much of her career in the federal government and private sector. Beginning her career in 1983, she served as a logistics analyst at BDM International for two years before transitioning to SWL Inc., where she thrived in various managerial positions until 1989. Following this appointment, Ms. LeBoeuf served as a professional staff member at the Defense Systems Management College before joining the National Technical Information Service in the U.S. Department of Commerce as the director of public affairs in 1993. Serving in this capacity until 2001, she subsequently served with the United States Army’s Future Combat Systems facilities at the Logistics Management Institute between 2001 and 2005 and at the Science Applications International Corporation (commonly known as SAIC) from 2005 to 2010. Impressively, Ms. LeBoeuf excelled as the deputy branch chief at the Department of Homeland Security with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services from 2010 until she retired from the government sector in 2021, having also served the U.S. Immigration Records and Information Services as a senior advisor. There, she worked in collaboration with knowledge management to create “smart creative” coaching sessions for the National Records Center.
Ms. LeBoeuf is well known as the co-founder of Focused Mind LLC and co-chairperson of the Computer-Aided Acquisition Logistics Systems Research Group. As Focused Mind LLC’s co-founder, she focuses on maximizing her clients’ personal and professional growth by listening intently to their ambitions and earning their trust. To wit, several fellow life and career coaches work alongside her on a part-time basis to advance the company’s mission. Among her many clients, she is proud of coaching with the federal government, private businesses, individuals, nonprofit organizations, and small companies. Alongside these appointments, she is a frequent public speaker, briefer, and business, life, leadership, and group coach. She has further lent her wealth of experience to her role as a contracting officer’s representative. Outside of her primary endeavors, Ms. LeBoeuf is a past member of the board of directors of Woodwalk Condominiums and has maintained active affiliations with the Society of Logistics Engineers, the Public Relations Society of America Inc., and the National Press Club, among other organizations.
Among her string of career achievements, Ms. LeBoeuf is particularly proud of the work she completed for the United States Army’s Future Combat Systems, where she was afforded opportunities to build and test hardware, software, sensors, and networks – all of which became an integrated network that supported the organization’s endeavors. Likewise, Ms. LeBoeuf aided in establishing drones that possessed technology advanced enough to communicate with soldiers on the ground and in the tent, which also required an integrated network system.
As a testament to her resounding success in the field, Ms. LeBoeuf has accrued multiple honors. Named Best Speaker and Best Evaluator by Toastmasters International, she received the Director’s Award and the Associate Director’s Award from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Furthermore, Ms. LeBoeuf earned the Excellence Award from the United States Department of Defense and the Outstanding Service Award from the United States Department of Commerce. She credits her success to having a curious nature and natural desire to learn and educate herself continuously. Likewise, she has always been open to tackling any challenges that confront her in her professional roles, rising above them with ease.
Born in Falls Church, Virginia, and married to Herve LeBoeuf for many years, Ms. LeBoeuf has four children: Geret, Nicole, Herve, and Matthew. She has six grandchildren: Alexa, Herve, Sophia, Kara, Drake and Genevieve. In her leisure time, the Springfield Virginia resident enjoys bicycling, touring historical sites, volunteering at faith-based events, and playing the guitar.
