A global specialist in pet hospice and doula care, animal communication, and healing, Sue London has always been a natural healer for pets, having participated in fundraisers for the Humane Society of the United States at the age of 7. Finding great reward in her profession, she has served as the owner of 7 Dogs Media in Ontario, Canada, since 2003. Since that time, she has provided comfort and support to pet owners and their families when their pets are in the process of passing away. In this regard, Ms. London specializes in educating her clients and their families, particularly children, about the natural process of death and helping their pets pass peacefully. Notably, Ms. London offers her services on a 24/7 basis, ensuring that she is readily available to help her clients in person, over the phone, and virtually. This has also allowed her to interact with international clients from across the globe.
To wit, Ms. London’s expertise has rendered her a highly sought-after practitioner in animal care and doula services, and she has healed several pets throughout her 20-year career. Among many other experiences, she helped a blind dog recover its vision, and she also helped her 15-year-old Shih Tzu heal from a tumor that developed in its paw, thereby avoiding the need for amputation. Over the course of her career, Ms. London has also helped dozens of individuals, including a young boy named Josh, who went into remission from his disease after reading Ms. London’s children’s book, “Rocky’s Positive Thoughts Coloring Book,” which helped Josh learn how to visualize his future ambitions.
Ms. London first developed a direct understanding of the significance of doula services and hospice care after experiencing near-death experiences when she was 21 and 34 years old. Deciding thereafter to lend her expertise to society at large, she decided to hone her attention to helping and healing animals, stemming from her experience helping animals as a young girl. Ms. London has been interviewed by various media outlets across Canada, the United States, and globally, including for international television, radio shows, and podcasts. Likewise, Ms. London was featured in magazines in the United States, Canada, and England, and her work was featured on the Pet Network on numerous occasions.
In addition, Ms. London is recognized as a Reiki master for pets and a certified pet healer. To this end, she possesses a deep talent for experiencing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energies of those she is healing and broadcasting this knowledge to families of pets during the death process. In turn, this provides those families comfort, closure, and peace as they put their pets to rest. In recognition of her profound abilities, Ms. London has been approached several times by individuals who wanted to make a documentary about her life. Impressively, she was also invited by Jack Canfield, a co-author of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series, to join his private group and become a trainer for his online events.
Writing several books in light of her expertise, Ms. London is the author of “For the Love of Pets Who Help Us Heal,” from which she donates a portion of her profits to Dog Guides of Canada. Additionally, she penned the books “Signs from Your Beloved Pets” and “Sour Above It: Overcoming Adversities in Life,” which detailed her own journey of coping with and healing from Crohn’s disease. Furthermore, she wrote “Sue London and Her Friends Share Their Pet Stories,” an e-book that details the stories of those pets who were dear to her and her friends. Ms. London has hosted the “Get Inspired Radio Show” on WBLQ AM Radio and was an executive producer and radio host for The Empowerment Channel, among others. Moreover, she has contributed to written media as a columnist in print and online magazines. She is a former regional president of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and formerly lent her time as a volunteer reading teacher to a local school for 14 years.
As a testament to her success, Ms. London received the Competent Communicator Award from Toastmasters International and was nominated for the Halton Woman of the Year award in 2004. In 2007, she earned the Business Mastery Award for owning a business that has made a positive difference in other individuals’ lives from John Assaraf, The New York Times best-selling author and business coach perhaps most renowned for his role in “The Secret.”
In the future, Ms. London endeavors to continue her successful career by helping pet owners cope with and heal from the loss of their pets on a global scale. In addition, she would like to write a new book about her trip experiences with her husband, Ross, to whom she has been married for 22 years. Ms. London is writing a new children’s book and recording online training programs to help her clients.
