STEF LLEWELLYN

Stef Llewellyn has excelled as the owner of Healthcare Workforce Consulting since 2024. In this capacity, she is responsible for creating optimal outcomes for hospital organizations and health care systems throughout the United States. Her work centers on collaborating with health care information technology leaders to drive high-quality patient care by leveraging data and analytics. Through her efforts, Ms. Llewellyn informs leadership decision-making related to staffing, scheduling and equitable compensation, all with the goal of reducing employee churn and turnover.

Prior to her present position, Ms. Llewellyn worked as an enterprise resource planning expert at Lehigh Valley Health Network from 2023 to 2024. In this role, she contributed her expertise in optimizing resource allocation and streamlining processes within the organization. From 2018 to 2023, Ms. Llewellyn served as principal business consultant at symplr, where she provided strategic guidance to clients in the health care sector. She was also a senior services consultant at symplr from 2018 to 2022, focusing on delivering tailored solutions that addressed complex operational challenges.

Between 2013 and 2022, Ms. Llewellyn found success as a senior services consultant at GE HealthCare. During this period, she played a key role in implementing innovative strategies that enhanced service delivery and operational efficiency for clients. She was active as a senior business consultant at Infor from 2010 to 2013, where she specialized in business process improvement and technology integration for health care organizations. Ms. Llewellyn’s earlier experience includes serving as production manager at St. Benoit Yogurt from 2009 to 2010, where she oversaw production operations and ensured quality standards were met.

In 2008, Ms. Llewellyn was recruited as a business consultant at Lawson Software, Infor, providing consultative support for software implementation projects. She began her professional journey as assistant director at SCORE! Educational Centers from 2007 to 2008, where she contributed to educational program management. Additionally, Ms. Llewellyn spent four years with Garnish in a professional capacity that further enriched her expertise in organizational operations.

Among Ms. Llewellyn’s most notable achievements is her work with a large health care system in the Midwest. This highly dynamic collaboration involved conducting parallel testing to validate data integrity prior to system implementation. During the second parallel test, which encompassed two million hours of data, the results differed by only 21 hours before going live—a testament to her meticulous approach and commitment to excellence.

Ms. Llewellyn initially pursued an education at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, from which she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2005. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester in Kenya focused on wildlife management, an experience that broadened her perspective and honed her analytical skills. She subsequently graduated with a Master of Science in biological sciences from University of the Pacific in 2007. Ms. Llewellyn is currently pursuing coursework in software engineering at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, further expanding her technical expertise.

Ms. Llewellyn attributes much of her success to the encouragement of her father, who instilled in her the belief that she could achieve any goal she set for herself. Additionally, she credits her strong passion for problem solving as a driving force behind her accomplishments. Looking ahead, she plans to establish a client repository focused on the effective and efficient use of data and intends to leverage available data through software solutions to drive improved outcomes for client organizations.
