Prajna Khisty

After earning a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the College Of Engineering Pune Technological University and a Master of Business Administration in marketing from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Prajna Khisty left her home in India in 2000 and immigrated to the United States. She had long dreamt of traveling to this land of opportunity in search of employment that would allow her the flexibility to honor her responsibilities as a mother while advancing in her career. She demonstrated that she valued and understood the principles of investing, saving money and growing finances by securing required certifications as a retirement planning specialist from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Accredited as a Chartered Financial Consultant® through The American College of Financial Services, she was hired by AXA Advisors LLC.

In 2020, AXA Advisors LLC became a public stock company known as Equitable Advisors LLC (EQH), where Ms.Khisty contniued her career & has thrived as a retirement planning specialist with a focus on estates, business succession and comprehensive financial planning. She is a member of a group of experts called the R.I.C.H. Planning Group, which is recognized for its high efficiency and production. Taking pride in her ability to connect with clients who have access to all in-house experts depending on their needs, Ms. Khisty carefully explains options, educates, discusses retirement goals, and provides holistic planning with multiple services in one place to ensure smooth transitions and client satisfaction. She enjoys helping her clients find a genuine feeling of support, comfort, peace, and empowerment by delivering the best service and professional, personal and emotional guidance so they have a complete picture of their possibilities. When a client loses a loved one, for example, Ms. Khisty understands and is reminded of the greater importance of her work, especially for women who may feel helpless after losing a husband who was the breadwinner.

Ms. Khisty’s industry has taken notice of her commitment and excellence throughout her career, honoring her with the Court of the Table designation from the Million Dollar Round Table, an international organization that gathers financial professionals from around the world. She was named in Trademark Publishing’s Women of Distinction and reached Centurion, Summit, and Hallmark 1 performance levels at AXA Advisors LLC, alongside other high honors in her profession. She is also a member of the National Association of Insurance Professionals Inc. and the Paramount Platinum Producer Group. Ms. Khisty attributes her success to hard work, efficiency, an ethical and authentic professional approach, comprehensive training, positive community engagement, applying abundant company resources, networking with accomplished individuals, adopting industry-leading practices, and working analytically. To enhance her professional expertise and official credentials, she is enrolled at the American College of Financial Services and plans to become a retirement income certified professional.

Dedicated to giving back to her community, Ms. Khisty volunteers with various charitable organizations. A small sampling of her involvements includes being a life member of the International Center for Cultural Studies, a certified instructor at The Art of Living Foundation, a member of the Foundation for Advancement of Cultural Ties USA, and a past board of directors member and national youth coordinator at the Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of USA Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to fundraising for education in remote and rural areas of India. During the next decade, Ms. Khisty plans to further her practice in financial planning and work closely with young professionals by preparing them to be her successors. Her aim is to transition into a more sustainable work-life balance that will continue to include community service, philanthropic commitments and extensive international cultural endeavors that help promote diversity and harmony.
