PATTIE K. ROKYTA

Pattie Rokyta

Possessing more than 10 years of professional experience in the fields of banking and finance, Pattie K. Rokyta excels as the Houston West executive director and area manager at Chase Bank since 2023. In her role, she maintains responsibility for her team of business-relationship managers and providing solutions for business clients, such as treasury management and deposit relationships. First joining Chase in 2007, she served as the vice president of business banking until accepting a position as the commercial relationship manager for the Bank of Texas in 2012. Thereafter, she served as the vice president and commercial relationship manager for BBVA Compass from 2014 to 2017.

In the latter stages of her career thus far, Ms. Rokyta also thrived as the vice president of commercial banking for First Citizens Bank from 2017 to 2019 and the vice president of Capital One from 2019 to 2021. Continuing her career with JPMorgan Chase & Co., she was a senior relationship manager between 2021 and 2023 before commencing her present position. Prior to embarking on her career, Ms. Rokyta pursued a formal education at West Texas A&M University, completing coursework in business administration and management in 2001. She subsequently earned a bachelor’s degree in the same subjects from Sam Houston State University in 2005. Holding many credentials alongside her academic degree, Ms. Rokyta has been certified in commercial credit by the University of Houston Downtown since 2014 and has held the certification of profit mastery in practical tools for advising business owners since 2012. She is also a former licensed personal banker.

Ms. Rokyta is a member of the Greater Houston Chamber of Commerce in her spare time. To account for her success, she credits the influence of her mentors that she has garnered through the years and the impact her early life had on her decision to pursue a career. To this end, she aims to make a positive difference in underprivileged communities and give back to her neighborhood, having been influenced by others who did the same while she was growing up. Although she has experienced numerous career achievements, Ms. Rokyta is particularly proud of helping small businesses and individuals in her role with Chase Bank, as she enjoys helping others achieve their goals.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Rokyta endeavors to grow in her managerial position and eventually delve into a specialty group at the bank, where she could manage groups such as commercial, industrial, health care and nonprofit management. In her leisure time, she enjoys fishing, boating, tubing, and spending quality time with her family.
