Neha Sharma has established herself as a leader in digital transformation, currently serving as vice president at Haptiq LLC. She leads the intelligent automation business unit, overseeing strategy, sales, and financial performance. Her expertise in artificial intelligence, data, and intelligent automation has been instrumental in driving strategic digital transformation programs, consulting, and implementation services.
From 2016 to 2023, Ms. Sharma was vice president of technology strategy at Webonise, now Haptiq. During this time, she also co-founded Auro RPA in Orange County, California, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit by launching her own company at just 25 years old. Her career began as a software engineer at Accenture from 2010 to 2011 before transitioning to a business analyst role at Sears Holdings India in Pune from 2012 to 2014, where she worked extensively with warehouse management systems. She then served as a senior business analyst at NEC Corporation of America in 2014 and as a technology strategy consultant at Vodafone Group from 2014 to 2016.
Laying a solid educational foundation, Ms. Sharma earned a Bachelor of Engineering in information technology from Maharashtra Institute of Technology and a postgraduate diploma in information technology management from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, completed in 2013. She is also actively involved in supporting education initiatives in India.
Reflecting on her path, Ms. Sharma began her career as a developer. While working at a bank in Finland, she realized she had a natural ability to understand not just the technical aspects but also the business rationale behind software implementation. This insight led her into technology delivery and implementation, followed by a transition into software robotics, where she found her passion for automation.
Ms. Sharma’s most significant accomplishment was establishing her own company in the United States at a young age. Additionally, she takes great pride in her company being recognized as one of the top 10 most innovative companies in the United States. She attributes her success to resilience and persistence, qualities instilled by her parents. Her father’s dedication as an entrepreneur and her mother’s unwavering support have been pivotal influences. She believes that resilience has been key to her growth, and, over the years, she has learned that persistence and determination are essential for long-term success.
Ms. Sharma is driven by the impact of her work on businesses and finds fulfillment in creating solutions that benefit others. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys dancing and spending time with her family, including her child. Looking to the future, she plans to rekindle her entrepreneurial spirit by developing ventures that create meaningful change for individuals and communities. Her passion for innovation continues to drive her ambition to make a lasting impact through future endeavors.
