
Mary Beth Wilson, RN, BSN, of Arkansas has devoted more than two decades to the nursing profession, showcasing her expertise and commitment to patient care. Currently excelling as an account executive at Vital Care of Little Rock since 2022, she has played a pivotal role in the franchise’s success. Her responsibilities include coordinating with clinics and hospitals and meeting with physicians to explain the services offered by the specialty pharmacy and infusion center. Her efforts have been instrumental in expanding the branch from a small team to a robust operation with six pharmacists and two account executives.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Wilson was a territory manager at BioDelivery Sciences International from 2019 to 2022, where she honed her skills in communication and management. From 2016 to 2019, she served as a clinical sales liaison at Coram CVS Specialty Infusion Services, gaining valuable experience in the home infusion space. Her leadership abilities were further demonstrated during her tenure as regional director of nursing at Wellpath from 2015 to 2016.
Ms. Wilson’s career also includes significant contributions at CHI St. Vincent, where she held various roles, such as nurse manager from 2014 to 2015 and clinical informatics educator from 2013 to 2014. She initially joined CHI St. Vincent as a nurse manager from 2011 to 2013. Earlier in her career, she worked at Arkansas Children’s Hospital as a patient care manager from 2007 to 2011, as a specialty nurse in gastroenterology from 2006 to 2007, and as a PICU staff nurse from 2004 to 2006.
To prepare for her accomplished tenure in health care, Ms. Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the same institution in 2000. She has been certified as a registered nurse through the Arkansas State Board of Nursing since 2004. Influenced by her father’s coaching background and her parents’ emphasis on education and work ethic, she developed strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and listening skills that have been crucial throughout her career.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Wilson is actively involved with the Immunoglobulin National Society and volunteers with the Nurses Honor Guard of South Carolina, reflecting her commitment to civic engagement and community service. In her personal life, she cherishes time spent with her family, including her spouse, Randa Morgan, and their children, Will, Cole, and Henlea. Ms. Wilson enjoys spending her spare time listening to podcasts, reading, staying active by hiking and biking, and boating on the lake.
In the coming years, Ms. Wilson aims to expand her business’s reach within Arkansas while pursuing opportunities for self-improvement and leadership roles that support the growth of other nurses within her organization. Moreover, in advising future professionals, she emphasizes that listening is key, whether one is listening to what the doctor wants to do for a patient, listening to what the patient says and feels about what is happening, or listening to one’s coworkers and making sure that everyone is on the same page. Ms. Wilson notes that health care involves a significant amount of collaboration and stresses that one must learn how to communicate with different personalities at different levels.
