Kristina Mileusnich, holding a double master’s degree, one in acupuncture and one in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) with credentials as a licensed acupuncturist and a diplomate of acupuncture, has been the proud and trusted owner of Seven Medicine TCM Healing Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, since 2019. Having expertise in women’s health, fertility support, weight loss, hormonal imbalances, post-partum care, autoimmune pain, mental health, cosmetic facial acupuncture and chronic pain, she is licensed with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture.
Initially motivated by her brother’s struggle with leukemia, Ms. Mileusnich sought a career in health care to help those struggling with their health. As a refugee from her home country of Bosnia, she had to overcome a succession of challenges. This experience helped her develop an unshakeable resilience and has played a significant role in her success. She witnessed her parents work incredibly hard to provide for her family and was inspired to accomplish her own goals and make her parents proud. Ms. Mileusnich started her education at the University of Minnesota, where she was enrolled in pre-medicine coursework. In 2018, she graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern Health Sciences University with her double master’s in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. Beyond her formal degrees and credentials, she is certified in abdominal protocol for fertility and weight loss.
Before launching Seven Medicine, Ms. Mileusnich secured outstanding serial experience as an intern with the Human Performance Center, the Pillsbury House, Courage Kenny, Pathways, Abbot Northwestern Hospital, and the University of Minnesota’s Masonic Children’s Hospital. Furthering her studies, she has also completed an internship in ZhengZhou, China, where she learned extensive knowledge in the specialties of stroke rehabilitation, chronic pain, and fertility. She has been honored for her professional achievements with multiple awards, including being named Rochester’s Best Acupuncturist in 2022 and 2023 and 2024 and winning Best Holistic Wellness Clinic in Rochester in 2023, 2024 as well as Best Naturopathic Clinic in 2024 through Community Votes. To give back to her community, Ms. Mileusnich participates in various pro bono initiatives for low-income households through Seven Medicine and offers a women’s health sponsorship for a local soccer league.
Ms. Mileusnich’s experiences as a mother have largely inspired her to specialize in women’s health. She considers it a privilege to help other women navigate the difficult and complex areas of fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and post-partum recovery as well as teach and empower women to regulate their hormones and have a pain-free menstrual cycle. Along with relishing her work, she enjoys taking her children to the park, traveling, cooking, and outdoor activities such as gardening, playing tennis and hiking.
