Within just a few months of joining the firm, she rose to the number two performer in her region, building her book of business from the ground up despite starting with a smaller initial budget.
Ms. Butler’s educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Communications from the University of North Florida which laid the groundwork for her ability to connect with clients, lead teams and drive marketing initiatives. She holds several industry credentials, including the 2-20 general lines agent license and the 2-14 life license. She has also earned designations such as accredited adviser in insurance and certified professional insurance agent, further underscoring her deep knowledge of the insurance sector and her dedication to maintaining the highest professional standards.
Before joining First Insurance Funding, Ms. Butler was the southeast marketing manager at Burns & Wilcox and was instrumental in expanding the firm’s footprint in the region. Her leadership during that time contributed to the company receiving the Company of the Year Award from the Young Agent Council. She previously held the position of Florida marketing manager at Burns & Wilcox excelling in relationship management and team development. Earlier in her career, she spent over a decade as Florida marketing manager at Southern Fidelity – Capitol Preferred, where she developed her reputation for being a driven, self-motivated professional who thrives in high-performance environments.
Throughout her career, Ms. Butler has developed a wide range of competencies, including Salesforce operations, client engagement, strategic marketing and cross-functional collaboration. Her professional affiliations include active membership in several key organizations, such as the Florida Association of Insurance Agents, the Independent Insurance Agents of North Florida and the Independent Insurance Agents of Dade County. She also serves as a zone coordinator for the Young Agent Council, mentoring the next generation of insurance professionals and advocating for increased diversity and inclusion within the industry.
Outside of work, Ms. Butler contributes her time to civic causes, including volunteering with Feeding America to support individuals and families facing food insecurity. She enjoys spending her free time boating, skiing and sharing quality time with her family.
