She began her professional career as a freelance journalist with various Michigan and Ohio based newspapers from 1968 to 1971 while also serving as a public relations representative at Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) in Munich from 1969 to 1971. Following this, Ms. Stone was the trust portfolio manager and vice president of PNC Bank in Philadelphia from 1984 to 1991, and held a private practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania for two years.

Continuing on her professional path, Ms. Stone was treasurer, corporate secretary and director of Flavour of Britain Co. from 1994 to 1999 and investment manager of Vanguard Valley Forge from 2001 to 2003. She then owned two businesses, Stoney’s British Public, in Wilmington, Delaware, from 2000 to 2009 and Abbey Scopes from 2004 to 2007. Today, she serves as the treasurer for the West Goshen Democrats since 2015 and a deputy of the Daughters of the American Revolution’s veterans administration volunteer services since 2018. Additionally, Ms. Stone was a partner of Britannia.com from 1996 to 1999.

Prior to the start of her career, Ms. Stone pursued a formal education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she attained a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1967. She is also a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Active in her local community, Ms. Stone served on the board of directors, the executive committee and as treasurer for the Children’s Country Week Association in Chester County, Pennsylvania, from 1988 to 2003.

Outside of her primary trade, Ms. Stone served the Delaware Valley Certified Financial Planners on the board of directors from 1991 to 1993 and as secretary from 1993 to 1996. In her free time, Ms. Stone enjoys horseback riding, needlecrafts, swimming and studying politics, and was named a co-holder of the world’s long distance motorcycling record in 1971. She likes to think that there are many great clients who were more secure, happier, and able to pass that mindset onto their children and grandchildren as a result of her work.
