
Kimberly D. Carroll has built a distinguished career in the financial and advisory sectors, recognized for her strategic leadership and commitment to operational excellence. As managing principal at Inflexion Advisors LLC, she plays a central role in driving business development, supporting client relationships and refining the firm’s operational model. Her leadership includes engaging in high-level client meetings, conducting onsite visits and ensuring seamless service delivery that reflects the firm’s standards. Since joining the organization as a principal, Ms. Carroll has been instrumental in shaping its direction and expanding its impact in the advisory space through a focus on innovation and service quality.
Ms. Carroll earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from Florida State University, where she developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and critical thinking. Her upbringing as the child of a military family instilled in her a deep sense of adaptability and an ability to thrive in diverse environments. These early life experiences have contributed to her strengths in relationship-building, communication and leading with empathy, all of which have served her well throughout her career.
Before her time at Inflexion Advisors, Ms. Carroll held a variety of senior leadership roles at Fidelity Investments. Her responsibilities included serving as program director for benefit plan services strategy and planning at Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC, guiding initiatives that improved service delivery and client outcomes. She also served as director of product management for HR Access and held key roles such as senior quality control manager for human resources and payroll operations, configuration manager and business analyst consultant. Each position deepened her expertise in product development, operational strategy and human resources systems within large-scale organizations.
Ms. Carroll began her professional journey in the construction and development industry. As a development controller at Marriott Vacation Club International, she supported the financial planning and oversight of new vacation club properties nationwide. She also worked as a financial analyst at WELBRO Building Corporation and as an accounting coordinator at Turner Construction Company, gaining valuable experience in accounting systems and project budgeting. Her early career also included teaching math skills at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, North Carolina, where she discovered a passion for mentoring and education.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Carroll is deeply engaged in community and philanthropic work, supporting organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, Tunnel to Towers Foundation and The Jason Foundation Inc.
