As the director of asset management at Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc., she oversees a portfolio of nearly 65 properties, ensuring their long-term success through strategic planning and innovative solutions. In addition to her corporate leadership, Ms. Estévez Losada is the founder and results coach at Julia Estévez LLC, where she helps clients develop accountability and reach their full potential. Her expertise, cultivated over years of diverse professional roles, reflects her commitment to excellence and continuous growth.

Ms. Estévez Losada’s academic background provides the necessary expertise for her multifaceted career. She holds a master’s degree in community management from Cerem GBS and a master’s degree in communications from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. She earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, equipping her with the technical skills that have been instrumental in her success. Additionally, she completed coursework in industrial engineering at Universidad Nacional Abierta and obtained a diploma in management from the Japanese International Cooperation Agency. These educational achievements have prepared her for dynamic and evolving real estate, asset management and coaching challenges.

Expanding upon her academic credentials, Ms. Estévez Losada’s career spans multiple industries and leadership roles, highlighting her adaptability and problem-solving skills. With a strong foundation in engineering and management, she seamlessly transitioned into leadership roles across various organizations. Before assuming her current position, she worked at KMI International in various roles, including director of program management, senior project manager, senior construction consultant and project manager. She also held leadership roles at Tecnitel as director and at Fundas as president, further solidifying her reputation for driving organizational success. Earlier in her career, she served as the Aragua state director for the Instituto Nacional de la Vivienda and construction manager at Instituto de Ferrocarriles del Estado, where she gained firsthand experience managing large-scale projects and navigating complex regulatory environments.

Through her extensive experience, Ms. Estévez Losada has contributed significantly to advancing construction and property management practices within Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. Her strategic focus on long-term planning, quality, and operational efficiency has supported the implementation of more sustainable and resident-focused improvements. By emphasizing precision and thoughtful design, she has helped enhance the functionality and maintenance of key assets, aligning project outcomes more closely with the needs of both the company and its communities.

The educational system in Venezuela, where she grew up, required students to choose a professional trajectory early on. Her decision to transfer from a military university to a more traditional institution allowed her to refine her skills and align her education with her evolving interests.

The book offers practical strategies to overcome fear, design a purpose-driven life, and cultivate a mindset of resilience and growth. “Matanga” is available globally on Amazon and was officially launched at the Bogotá International Book Fair (FILBo 2025), receiving recognition across Latin America. Moreover, in June 2025, Ms. Estévez Losada received the Diana Turbay Quintero Award, a distinguished honor granted in Colombia to leaders whose life, work, and legacy have made a positive impact on society. She received this accolade for her career as a results coach, international speaker, and author of “Matanga.” The award ceremony took place at the Palacio del Congreso Nacional de Colombia.

Ms. Estévez Losada finds fulfillment in supporting her family and pursuing new challenges. She is married to Victor Arroyo and is the proud mother of two children, Santiago Arroyo Estévez and Alejandro Arroyo Estévez. She plans to expand her expertise by obtaining a general contractor license to support her husband’s business. Additionally, she is pursuing an international certification in coaching to broaden her impact and help individuals navigating life and career transitions.
