Ms. Scheer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in management information systems from Central Michigan University. Before stepping into her leadership role at Universal Creative, Ms. Scheer was a visual effects producer for the Netflix series “Lost Ollie,” a project that earned her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Live Action Series. She also contributed to high-profile productions such as MGM’s “Road House” as visual effects supervisor and producer and Apple TV’s “Before” as VFX producer. Her ability to balance creative excellence with operational execution has made her a trusted collaborator in the entertainment industry.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Scheer was a senior digital and media producer at Walt Disney Imagineering, where she helped bring large-scale attractions to life through cutting-edge digital storytelling. She also was an executive producer at Park Road Post Production and held a global resource manager position at MPC. Her international experience includes time with Weta Digital in New Zealand, where she worked closely with Peter Jackson’s team and contributed to visually iconic films that shaped the industry standard for digital effects.
Ms. Scheer’s career has included work on several Oscar-winning films, including “Titanic,” “Avatar,” “The Lord of the Rings,” “War for the Planet of the Apes” and “What Dreams May Come.” Her involvement in these landmark productions showcases her impact on the evolution of visual storytelling and her ability to lead teams through technically complex and creatively demanding environments.
