
Jennifer Ring has built a successful career in the consumer-packaged goods industry. As senior director of sales for Walmart and omnichannel marketing at Heartland Food Products Group, she leads key initiatives that support growth across retail and digital platforms. Her role includes managing the Walmart account, driving e-commerce performance, and developing omnichannel strategies that align with shifting consumer behaviors. Ms. Ring earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in marketing management from the University of Arkansas. Her academic foundation has provided the analytical and strategic skills necessary to navigate a competitive and evolving marketplace. In addition to her formal education, she has completed certifications in digital marketing, strategic thinking, negotiation, and leadership. These include multiple Walmart connect certifications as well as a series of LinkedIn learning courses designed to sharpen executive decision-making and communication.
Ms. Ring joined Heartland Food Products Group as a sales director for Walmart, playing an important role in helping the company adapt to the growing importance of digital sales. Her contributions were instrumental in the company’s shift from traditional in-store sales to a more integrated omnichannel model. Promoted to director of omnichannel shopper marketing, she guided the business through digital transformation during a time of rapid change in consumer behavior. Her advancement to senior director of omnichannel customer marketing reflected her ability to align strategy with execution, ensuring that the company remained competitive in both online and physical retail environments.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Ring worked at Kimberly-Clark as a senior customer business partner for Walmart, managing key accounts and deepening her expertise in retail partnerships. Her prior roles at Coty Inc., including business development manager and retail marketing and operations manager for Walmart, gave her hands-on experience with merchandising, analytics, and brand strategy. She began her professional path as a sales analyst at High Impact Analytics, focusing on Walmart and Sam’s Club, where she developed a data-driven approach to understanding customer behavior and retail performance.
Outside of her corporate responsibilities, Ms. Ring is deeply involved in community and industry organizations. She serves as a member of the Circle of Red and the Executive Leadership Team for Go Red for Women with the American Heart Association. She also supports the American Diabetes Association as a member of the Striker Society and maintains affiliations with the Association of National Advertisers and Women We Admire. Her leadership has been recognized with honors such as being named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Arkansas and receiving multiple performance awards from Heartland Food Products Group.
In her personal life, Ms. Ring enjoys traveling, spending time with family, visiting lakes, and hiking. Looking ahead, she hopes to continue growing in leadership within the consumer-packaged goods sector. Her long-term goals include joining a corporate board to help guide organizations through innovation and strategic growth.
