Ms. Franks holds a longstanding love for real estate that developed from an interest in the process of purchasing property and the feeling that everyone deserves a place to live. After earning her high school diploma, she obtained her realtor’s license and embarked on her career in the real estate industry, specifically in the field of appraisal management. Since 1998, Ms. Franks has excelled as the owner, president and chief operations officer of ACT Appraisal, Inc., a full-service real estate appraisal management company that operates nationally and handles everything throughout the appraisal process, from beginning to end.
A major part of Ms. Franks’ duties with ACT Appraisal is overseeing their network of approximately 20,000 licensed appraisers operating throughout the United States. This includes ensuring that their staff remains knowledgeable and up to date about the services offered by the company and are able to provide the best possible customer service for their clients. She considers it vitally important to find the best-suited appraiser for each assignment so that the client receives a top-quality product. In addition to working with her staff, Ms. Franks is also in charge of various day-to-day operations, such as coordinating orders, enhancing work relationships between their various departments, and managing the workflow of their mortgage appraisal portals and processes, the available software and delivery methods, and any post-delivery issues that may arise.
Attributing much of her success to her magnificent team, who have been with her since the beginning, Ms. Franks is perpetually motivated by her customers and finds great satisfaction in being able to ensure that her clients receive the best possible experience and outcome with their transactions. She also finds it incredibly rewarding to help clients find their dream homes and has made a name for herself in the field for adding a personal touch to every single transaction she works on. Hoping to continue to be a shining, positive light in the real estate industry, Ms. Franks intends to continue growing ACT Appraisal to become one of the best appraisal management companies in the country.
For excellence in her career, Ms. Franks has been the recipient of a number of honors and accolades. Most recently, she was named to Women of Influence in Real Estate in 2021. She had previously been named to the 40 Under 40 list by the National Mortgage Professional magazine in 2019 and presented with the Latino Who’s Who Award. Incredibly proud of all three of these recognitions, she considers her greatest achievement to be her daily work overseeing the operations of a national appraisal management company. In addition, Ms. Franks has become an honored Marquis Who’s Who listee and will be appearing in the upcoming edition of Who’s Who of Professional Women, a publication that seeks to recognize outstanding women for their professional achievements.
Living her life by the motto, “Kindness and truth,” Ms. Franks has spent many happy years married to her husband, Bryan. Together they are the proud parents of two children, Marek, aged 7, and Milena, aged 12. In her free time, Ms. Franks gives back to her community through her involvement with Cal’s All-Star Angel Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit pediatric cancer foundation whose primary goals are granting wishes, raising awareness and funding research to help children fighting cancer.
