
Edith Schatz has built a successful career in project management and business consultancy, specializing in organizational management. Since 2015, she has been the business owner of Edith Schatz 3PMC, where she helps organizations and individuals navigate project management frameworks and adopt Agile methodologies. She is also an active member of the Project Management Institute. Prior to her current role, Ms. Schatz was a project process development manager at Projekt Navigator from 2022 to 2024, refining project processes to enhance organizational efficiency. Concurrently, she owned Elegantable from 2014 to 2024, demonstrating her entrepreneurial drive and innovative approach to business growth.
Ms. Schatz spent a significant portion of her career at Siemens, holding multiple leadership roles. From 2007 to 2014, she served as PMO manager and project/program manager, leading major initiatives such as the X-Ray 2 project and a large SAP application implementation. Her work in these projects showcased her ability to manage complex tasks while earning recognition for her strategic vision. Prior to this, she was a senior process consultant with Siemens from 2003 to 2007 and a controller and process consultant with the same organization from 1996 to 2003, strengthening her expertise in process optimization and financial oversight.
In preparation for her career successes, Ms. Schatz laid a solid educational foundation, earning a diploma from Johannes-Scharrer-Gymnasium in Nuremberg, Germany, in 1987, an associate degree in business administration from Siemens AG in Erlangen, Germany, in 1989, and a Bachelor of Science in business administration and economics from FernUniversität in Hagen, Germany, in 1998. Additionally, she holds certifications as a SAFe practice consultant through Scaled Agile Inc., as an OKR master and Agile coach through the TrueAgile Institute for Agility & Innovation, and as a design thinking coach through the Institute for Agility and Innovation. Eminently qualified, Ms. Schatz is a certified program and portfolio management consultant and a certified project management associate through GPM Deutsche Gesellschaft.
Ms. Schatz considers her most notable achievement to be the X-Ray 2 project, where she established a project management office within a 400-person information technology department, developing and coaching a team of 50 project managers. She also led a major SAP application project, guiding a 120-person team to successfully implement a new system within a tight four-month deadline, far exceeding expectations. The project streamlined operations, archived millions of data sets, and was completed on time and within budget, marking a milestone in Ms. Schatz’s career.
