Ms. Stegall’s educational journey began at The Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in hotel, restaurant, and business management, focusing on nutrition in 1993. Initially, she entertained the idea of pursuing journalism. Changing course laid the basis for her professional life, as she discovered a fondness for wholesome eating and its essential role in overall wellness. Her early professional experiences included catering and event management in which she honed her business operations and customer service skills, gradually moving closer to her current specialization in nutrition coaching.

Constantly pursuing knowledge and professional development defines Ms. Stegall’s path, leading her to earn a range of credentials. This diverse training enables her to offer comprehensive and personalized coaching services that address various needs.

Ms. Stegall’s venture into this domain began unexpectedly when she attended an event with a friend who was selling “nutritional food” products. Although she initially considered representing that company, she quickly realized that the products did not align with her values, as they were not real food. This revelation led her to explore her field more authentically and meaningfully. At the same event, she met Dr. Wayne Scott Andersen, whose insights helped her recognize her potential to help others. This encounter was a turning point, inspiring her to become a mentor.

From that pivotal moment, Ms. Stegall dedicated herself to empowering others to take control of their well-being through simple, sustainable behavior changes. Ms. Stegall envisions expanding her impact by collaborating more closely with physicians and health care providers. In the next five years, she aims to bridge the gap for patients who need ongoing support beyond their initial diagnosis. By offering guidance to individuals who may feel lost after leaving the doctor’s office, particularly those dealing with chronic conditions like prediabetes, she hopes to complement the care doctors provide and address unmet patient needs. She believes that simple, home-cooked food can restore vitality and our connection with humanity. In today’s fast-paced world, many people have lost touch with this vital dimension of living, but she believes we can strengthen our connections with others by cooking at home more often and gathering loved ones around the table. This philosophy underpins her approach and commitment to helping others lead healthier, happier lives.
