Furthermore, she credits her more than 16 years in real estate, along with her early experience in customer service as a bank teller, as contributing to how she has excelled in her field. Prior to joining Realty of Chicago, she served as a real estate broker with Su Familia Real Estate in Chicago from 2012 to 2017 and as a realtor with Century 21 Salamanca Realty in Chicago from 2005 to 2012.
Alongside her primary career responsibilities, Ms. Favela has contributed her skills to a number of other professional and civic endeavors. In order to keep abreast of developments in her field, she maintains affiliation with a number of professional organizations, including the Chicago Association of Realtors, Illinois Realtors, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and the National Association of Realtors. While Ms. Favela has accomplished much over the course of her career, she considers her most notable achievements to simply be her ability to attain her goals and having a career that she enjoys. She loves seeing her clients happy and being able to help them achieve their dreams, particularly when they had previously considered the dream of buying their own home to be unattainable. Aiming to grow her business and hire a team in the coming years, she would advise young and aspiring professionals to ask a lot of questions and look for answers, talk to other realtors with more experience, and make sure you are willing to commit 100% to a career in real estate. Ms. Favela notes that her children, Jasline and Brandon, have been her greatest sources of inspiration and motivation in her work and life. When she isn’t working, she enjoys singing, jogging, walking her shih tzu, and taking her children on vacation.
