A distinguished entrepreneur with more than 25 years of professional experience, Catherine “KT” Nicolaides has used her customer service expertise to spearhead her own business. She draws upon 10 years of experience working for Starbucks, as well as another 10 years serving as an assistant manager for Bank of America. During this time, Ms. Nicolaides was the recipient of an Award for Leading in the Market for Ventura County from Bank of America. Learning from these experiences, she went on to launch Green Republic in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a co-owner.
Green Republic is a leading supplier of all hemp, CBD and other cannabinoid products, offering hundreds of items and premium options. Products for sale include edibles, hemp beverages, hemp cigarettes, hemp flower, tinctures, topicals, CBD bath care and concentrates/wax. In business, Ms. Nicolaides considers her most notable achievement to have been acquiring various companies and taking their sales nationwide. Likewise, she is proud to make products accessible to customers outside of its Nevada headquarters at prices that have remained affordable.
Ms. Nicolaides felt inspired to spearhead her business upon watching her late husband’s cancer journey. At the time, hemp, CBD and other cannabinoid products were not recreationally legal, making it difficult for her husband to get pain medications that were not narcotics, which seemed to be doing more harm to his body than good. From watching her husband suffer, she made it her goal to help people find relief through such products sold by Green Republic. Ms. Nicolaides has found her work incredibly fulfilling, knowing she is helping real people find new solutions to managing their pain.
To prepare for her career as an entrepreneur, Ms. Nicolaides studied at California State University, Stanislaus. She attributes her success in business to her constant availability, as some companies working with Green Republic are international and are not always available for meetings during regular business hours. Ms. Nicolaides will take calls as late as midnight, as satisfying her clients and building strong business connections are highly important for her. Looking toward the future, she hopes to experience the growth and success of Green Republic, as well as expand its online presence.
A distinguished Marquis listee, Ms. Nicolaides currently resides in Carpinteria, California. She is a loving mother of two children. When she is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her children and planning trips. Actively involved in her local community, she also dedicates time to volunteer at her local church and a women veterans group.
