Since 2026, she has excelled as the beacon/willow inpatient Epic analyst for research protocol build at Emory Healthcare. In this capacity, Ms. Yarrington is responsible for translating complex research study protocols and pharmacy manuals into actionable treatment plans within the Epic electronic medical record system.
Ms. Yarrington’s work involves converting intricate study arms into integrated protocols, reviewing laboratory requirements and treatment components for accuracy and completeness, and constructing comprehensive plans that enable physicians to efficiently apply research protocols to patient charts. Prior to joining Emory Healthcare, Ms. Yarrington was active as a clinical oncology informatics pharmacist and Epic Beacon analyst with Incisive Consultants from 2025 to 2026. Between 2005 and 2016, Ms. Yarrington found success as the oncology and infusion pharmacy coordinator at Trinity Health, overseeing chemotherapy preparation and protocol development while consulting on inpatient oncology cases. She began her journey with Trinity Health as a pharmacist from 2002 to 2005, gaining valuable experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her earlier career includes her work as a pharmacist at The Kroger Company from 1995 to 1997, a pharmacist at HomeMed and Michigan Medicine at the University of Michigan from 1997 to 1998, and a pharmacy manager at Option Care Health Inc. from 1998 to 2001.
Ms. Yarrington’s commitment to community engagement is evident through her steadfast service as Bark For Life coordinator for the American Cancer Society Inc. from 2010 to 2018. She organized annual fundraising events that brought together dog owners and local businesses, raising over $100,000 for cancer research initiatives despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

She initially completed coursework in animal sciences at Cornell University over two years, which contributed to her holistic understanding of biological systems. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Binghamton University, a part of the State University of New York system, in 1988. Ms. Yarrington concluded her academic efforts at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1995, from which she graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy.
Ms. Yarrington’s civic involvement is extensive. She has notably volunteered with the American Cancer Society Inc. since 2006, contributed as team captain for Relay For Life in Ann Arbor since 2007 and chaired Bark For Life since its inception in 2010. She has also contributed as volunteer coordinator for Cancer Prevention Study-3 from 2010 to 2013 and participated on various committees supporting cancer awareness initiatives.
Ms. Yarrington’s passion for animal welfare is reflected in her leadership roles within canine organizations. As president of a local kennel club affiliated with the American Kennel Club since 2006, she dedicates many hours annually to teaching agility classes, puppy obedience courses and promoting responsible pet ownership.
