
The values that underpin the real estate career of Carol Royse were instilled during her upbringing on a dairy farm as the eldest of five children. By age 6, she was assigned real responsibilities by her parents and developed a strong work ethic and an appreciation for diligence—qualities that have long defined her approach to business and client service.
Today, Ms. Royse is the chief executive officer of the Carol Royse Team in Tempe, Arizona, where she has been at the helm since 2009, solidifying her expertise in residential real estate and earning national recognition for her leadership and achievements. She takes pride in having assisted some 8,600 families, and counting, with buying and selling homes throughout her career. Maintaining long-term client relationships has been a cornerstone of Ms. Royse’s professional philosophy, having often worked with individual families across multiple generations. To foster these connections, she and her dedicated team host large community engagement events, including a Thanksgiving gathering that welcomes about 150 families to enjoy a variety of traditional holiday foods, as well as street tacos and desserts.
Ms. Royse’s career is marked by resilience, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to her clients and community. In recognition of these qualities and more, in 2012, she was listed No. 29 in the United States for productivity in her field by The Wall Street Journal, named to the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Agents list by Executive Magazine in 2017, and received Women in Business honors from The Arizona Republic in 2015 and 2016. As a thought leader in the real estate sector, Ms. Royse’s contributions extend to publishing, including co-authoring “Beat the Curve,” released by Celebrity PR in 2015, and “Death of the Traditional Real Estate Agent: Rise of the Super-Profitable Real Estate Sales Team,” published by Xlibris in 2015. She earned best-selling author status for “Beat the Curve” from the National Academy of Best-Selling Authors in 2016. Further, she is a member of industry organizations, including the Luxury Real Estate Group LLC and The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, reflecting her commitment to ongoing professional development and networking within the luxury market.
Prior to her current role as CEO of the Carol Royse Team, she was a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty, LLC, in Tempe from 2009 to 2023. During this time, she also specialized as a luxury and resale residential real estate agent for the same company from 1999 to 2023. Her expertise in high-end properties and resale transactions contributed significantly to her knowledge and reputation for excellence within the industry. Additionally, Ms. Royse operated as a business owner and real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty, LLC, in East Valley and Tempe. Her entrepreneurial approach and prowess enabled her to build a robust business model focused on client satisfaction and unique marketing strategies. Ms. Royse began her real estate career with Keller Williams Realty, LLC, in Maricopa County, California, from 1985 to 2016. She holds an associate degree from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, and a real estate license, both of which have been instrumental in developing her skills, credibility, and expertise and have supported her career success.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Royse is devoted to giving back to her community. She is a board member with United Way and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, has volunteered with Feed My Starving Children, and has supported Save the Family. More personally and importantly, Ms. Royse is dedicated to building a legacy with her husband, Tom, and their children, Vicki and Tim. She is committed to instilling a strong work ethic and dedication to excellence in her children and grandchildren.
