Carol Ann Fleres spent the first 25 years of her career as the owner of the Rutherford Employment Agency before selling the company to pursue other ventures. Having earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the William Paterson University of New Jersey in 1990, she went on to achieve her real estate license and joined Prudential Zack Shore Properties in 2010 as a realtor associate, a role she held until 2014. From 2015 to 2018, she was a realtor associate with Diane Turton, Realtors through Avon by the Sea and was subsequently a realtor with Gloria Nilson & Company Real Estate in Monmouth and Ocean County, New Jersey, from 2018 to 2020. From 2020 to 2012, Ms. Fleres served as a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, joining RE/MAX Revolution in February 2023.
Today, Ms. Fleres holds considerable expertise in residential real estate and listing homes. She has furthered her expertise by attaining certification in senior real estate and seller’s real estate, as well as a green designation through the National Association of Realtors. A particularly memorable moment in her career was when she had the opportunity to sell the house of Jack Cohen, the former mayor of Holmdel, New Jersey. This was the moment that truly endeared Ms. Fleres to selling houses, particularly for people who are leaving family homes. She strives to emphasize that this is not an ending, but a new beginning.
Alongside her primary responsibilities, Ms. Fleres has spent time on the board of directors for the Meadowlands Chamber, which she notes as an incredibly rewarding period of her career. For her accomplishments, she was a four-time recipient of the Circle of Excellence Award and a five-time Top Listing Agent by Avon by the Sea. Recognized by Top Agent Magazine in 2018, she was also the recipient of the Five Star Real Estate Award annually from 2017 to 2021. During her time at Berkshire Hathaway, Ms. Fleres was inducted into their honor society for both 2021 and 2022.
