Inspired by her father, who was a serial entrepreneur, Ann L. Carden first earned a diploma in general studies from Southeast Missouri State University in 1979 and began her career as a corporate retailer with Corporate Business Management in 1980. In 1991, she became certified as an LPW platinum business and marketing coach and went on to complete the additional coursework necessary to earn an associate degree in retail and business management from Hickey College. Over the course of her career, Ms. Carden has built up and sold five lucrative, well-established companies, including two health clubs, two weight loss centers and an international doll company.
With considerable expertise in business growth, Ms. Carden established A. Carden Inc. and Ann Carden Coaching & Consulting Services in 2010. Today, she excels as the chief executive officer and a business and marketing consultant. Over the course of her career, she has worked in roughly 50 different industries and presently focuses her efforts on helping fellow consultants and coaches as well as high-level professionals and C-suite executives. In her day to day duties, Ms. Carden works to help people establish and grow their entrepreneurial ventures, be that through helping them find their expertise or assisting already established professionals with marketing and promotion.
Attributing much of her success to hard work and never giving up her aspirations, Ms. Carden has thrived in her field as an author and speaker. A featured guest on various podcasts and TV shows, she is also the host of her own podcast, “Expert in You,” and has had articles appear in such publications as Small Business Trendsetters, Business Innovators Magazine and Shift magazine. Ms. Carden is also the author of the bestselling book, “Expert in You: Build a Lucrative and Impactful Coaching and Consulting Business From Your Xpertise,” which was released in 2020 and rapidly rose to become a Number One International Bestseller with Amazon.
Ms. Carden’s expertise was previously recognized by the Six-Figure Coach Magazine in 2017 when she was named to the Top 125 Coaches in the World. In order to keep abreast of developments in her field, she maintains professional affiliation with Elite Worldwide, Power Masterminds, Business Network International, the eWomenNetwork, WOW Women and 7L Mastermind. Looking toward the future, Ms. Carden has set her sights on starting her own nonprofit organization to benefit children in addition to her ongoing civic involvement.
