ANGIE FAITH

Angie Faith

Throughout her 35-year career, Angie Faith has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to the retail industry, most notably through her longstanding connection to Speedy Mart, a gas station, convenience store, liquor store, and bait-and-tackle shop in Fennimore, Wisconsin. The business was established by her parents in 1972 as a service station before it was eventually transformed into a full convenience store.

Even in childhood, Ms. Faith contributed to the business, taking on odd jobs, such as cleaning restrooms and selling fireworks, to earn spending money. Speedy Mart became the first store in Wisconsin to sell both groceries and gas, evolving over time into a full-service convenience outlet with a unique liquor section. During those early years, Ms. Faith gained comprehensive experience in customer service and store operations. Building a reputation for her growing expertise, she was promoted to retail manager. As she was given more responsibility, she handled it gracefully, contributing to the store’s growth and adaptability in a competitive market.

In 2007, Ms. Faith assumed the role of owner and chief executive officer of Speedy Mart LLC. Since then, she has overseen all aspects of its operations. Her leadership was particularly evident during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, when she maintained customer satisfaction and kept the business running safely despite issues that led many small businesses to shut down. She attributes much of the store’s success during this time to her dedicated employees who persevered alongside her, as well as to her commitment to providing friendly, fulfilling customer service.

Ms. Faith’s academic background includes college coursework that provided foundational knowledge to support her transition into business ownership and management. She also credits the guidance and principles instilled in her by her parents, as well as her early hands-on work with the family business, which taught her best practices at a young age.

Recognized for her professional achievements beyond her immediate community, Ms. Faith was featured in the Telegraph Herald for her contributions to local commerce. She is an active member of the Fennimore Area Chamber of Commerce, reflecting her ongoing engagement with industry peers and commitment to regional economic development. In addition to her business pursuits, Ms. Faith is civically engaged as a supporter and donor to local organizations. She contributes to the local dog park, the fire department and rescue squad, The American Legion, and the Knights of Columbus – underscoring her dedication to community welfare.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ms. Faith is happily married. She enjoys camping and values time spent outdoors. As she continues to lead Speedy Mart LLC, she aims to further distinguish the location by introducing unique products and services not available elsewhere in the area. She has facilitated the installation of new gas pumps designed to attract additional customers, among other recent improvements. Ultimately, Ms. Faith wants to ensure the Speedy Mart legacy by entrusting its future care to someone who will uphold its standards of service and community involvement.
