Andrea L. Bras

Andrea L. Bras has distinguished herself for more than 20 years for her expertise in strategic vision, organizational dynamics and translating complex technology into actionable strategies. She most recently served as vice president of product marketing at Viant Technology LLC from 2020 until 2026. In this capacity, Ms. Bras oversaw a team of 10 professionals specializing in product marketing. Under her leadership, the team was instrumental in launching and scaling Viant’s pioneering artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives, including the first-ever autonomous AI platform for advertising on the internet.

Noted for her ability to bridge gaps between technical and nontechnical teams, Ms. Bras first joined Viant Technology LLC in 2015 as an associate director of product marketing. She was later promoted to director, senior director and her ultimate vice president role. Throughout her tenure, Ms. Bras ensured that sales teams and clients could clearly understand and leverage Viant’s advanced offerings. Among her notable achievements, she spearheaded Viant’s adoption of Highspot, a leading sales enablement platform, which transformed how the company’s go-to-market resources were managed and enhanced both internal efficiency and client outcomes. She also played a key part in leading the company through major headwinds into a successful initial public offering.

Before her time with Viant, Ms. Bras held the position of senior manager of global strategic alliances at Acer Inc., where she managed partnerships and collaborated on software development for devices, with an emphasis on growth in the gaming sector. She contributed for two years as a consultant in digital and brand marketing, building on more than five years as a senior manager of digital marketing at Experian. Ms. Bras’ earlier experience includes roles in online marketing at Freedom Communications Inc., where she supported local businesses transitioning into digital advertising across platforms such as search and social media. Her professional life started with CareerBuilder, after which she joined Tribune Media and Nexstar Media Group in 2005, establishing herself in print and online marketing.

Ms. Bras’ performance in the field was born of her academic journey. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration, business and marketing from California State University, Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics in 2004. Ms. Bras further enhanced her experience by obtaining certification from Adelphic (now part of Viant Technology) in 2021. Her educational and professional training have provided a strong foundation for understanding market dynamics and consumer behavior.

Well-regarded for her contributions to the field of marketing, Ms. Bras was named sixth finalist for Most Influential Women in Tech for Business by the Los Angeles Times in 2024 — a milestone she considers one of her greatest achievements. She attributes her success to motivation, ambition, drive, self-awareness and situational insight.

A loving mother to one daughter in addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Bras enjoys exercising, attending concerts, listening to music and spending quality time with family and friends — especially her new grandchild. Drawing on her extensive experience, she is currently preparing to launch her own consulting business. Ms. Bras is also committed to staying on the cutting edge of technological advancements, as evident in her work toward completing an AI certificate program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She looks forward to overcoming new challenges while helping organizations translate complex products into clear client benefits.
