Donna Gray

Donna L. Gray has been a successful small business owner in Snyder, Texas, for more than 55 years, currently serving as the president of Texas Red Products LLC & Pit Sealant since 2020. Over the course of her career, she has owned five different companies, beginning in 1963 as the owner and operator of Donna’s Beauty Shop. She later owned and managed La Charme’ Health Spa from 1968 to 1975 and Snyder Bookstore and Giftshop from 1978 to 1990, and was a part-owner and secretary of Ice Melt Products LLC in 1992, as well as a part-owner and treasurer of Desert Brine, Inc., from 2005 to 2020. In years prior, Ms. Gray excelled as an assistant postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service in Dunn, Texas, from 1955 to 1958, and a clerk for J.C. Penney from 1958 to 1959 and Fabric Mart from 1959 to 1960 in Snyder.

A community leader for many years, Ms. Gray served as the district chairperson of the Snyder March of Dimes in 1984, and on the board of directors and as the treasurer of the Scurry County Child Welfare Board. She further served on the board of directors of the Scurry County Historical Commission and the Scurry County Fair Association. Additionally, Ms. Gray has been involved as a volunteer for the United Way, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. She maintains membership with the Gold Coast Organization and the Snyder Chamber of Commerce, and taught Sunday school for 66 years.

In recognition of her efforts, Ms. Gray was the three-time recipient of the SOZE PRE Award in 1994, 1997 and 1999, respectively. She has also had the honor of receiving the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and being named a Marquis Who’s Who Top Professional. Ms. Gray is married to her loving husband, C.D. Gray Jr., for 67 years and is the proud mother of two daughters – Cassandra L. Gray-Ratliff and the late Donna Faye Gray Rosson. She is also a doting grandmother to three grandchildren, Kristin, Hillary and Alexander, as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
