In addition to her primary responsibilities, Ms. Petty and her husband, Chad Petty, are co-creators of FreightScript, a groundbreaking technology platform designed for freight sales professionals. This innovative project brings together Chad’s history in sales and technology and Lisa’s two decades of experience in logistics.

Importantly, it is built around Ms. Petty and her husband’s firm belief that AI should be used to enhance the human side of sales rather than replace it. From 2006 to 2009, Ms. Petty worked as a shipping consultant at Unishippers. This role marked her entry into the freight brokerage field, providing her with valuable experience selling and brokering truckloads, less-than-truckload (LTL) and small parcel shipments. Ms. Petty began her career as a sales representative and fine wine specialist at Gallo Wine Company from 2003 to 2006. In these posts, she developed a strong work ethic and honed her business acumen that would prove foundational for her future entrepreneurial ventures.
Before embarking upon her professional path, Ms. Petty graduated with a Bachelor of Science in international business with an emphasis in marketing from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2002. Her educational achievements provided a strong foundation for her career, equipping her with critical skills in marketing strategy and global commerce that have proven invaluable throughout her professional journey.
