Kylie Gallagher has built a reputation in the children’s clothing industry as a creative entrepreneur whose vision and leadership have shaped successful ventures. As owner of Daisy Lane Kids Boutique, she manages every aspect of the business, from financial operations and marketing to product selection and customer experience. Her ability to blend operational precision with a strong sense of style has allowed the boutique to stand out in a competitive market, offering families a balance of high-quality products and accessible price points. Under her guidance, Daisy Lane Kids Boutique has become known not only as a store but as a trusted brand for parents seeking fashionable and functional clothing for their children.
Ms. Gallagher’s academic background provided the foundation for this path. She earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and marketing from Kent State University, where she developed an understanding of consumer behavior, merchandising strategies and retail management. These lessons have guided her professional choices and supported her progression from the corporate world into entrepreneurship. The knowledge she gained through her studies continues to inform her decisions, from analyzing trends to creating marketing strategies that reach diverse audiences.
In addition to Daisy Lane Kids Boutique, Ms. Gallagher is also the owner of Insta Digi Prints, a business that reflects her adaptability and innovative approach to changing markets. This venture has allowed her to expand her entrepreneurial reach and explore opportunities beyond apparel. Her willingness to diversify demonstrates her forward-thinking mindset and ability to respond to shifts in consumer demand.
Before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey, Ms. Gallagher built a corporate career that spanned more than a decade. She served as women’s footwear buyer for DICK’S Sporting Goods in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she was responsible for curating product assortments that resonated with customers. Her efforts contributed to the company’s growth and gave her valuable experience in strategic planning, vendor negotiations and sales forecasting.
Ms. Gallagher also held the role of department head buyer at Bath & Body Works in Columbus, Ohio. While in this position, she played a central role in the launch of a new sanitizer bottle that achieved significant results for the company. Her contributions were acknowledged with the “Best at BBW Award,” presented by the chief executive officer. The recognition was especially meaningful as she had not yet been promoted to department head, underscoring her ability to manage responsibilities beyond her official title. The experience strengthened her confidence and taught her how to assert her expertise in high-level discussions, lessons she carried into future roles.
Earlier, Ms. Gallagher worked as a buyer for Express in Columbus, Ohio. Over her twelve years as a corporate buyer, she mastered the fundamentals of merchandising and developed the ability to identify trends that would resonate with consumers. These experiences helped shape the business acumen and creative instincts that now define her entrepreneurial leadership.
Outside her professional pursuits, Ms. Gallagher is deeply committed to community involvement. Through Daisy Lane Kids Boutique, she has supported donation drives, baseball tournaments such as the Cranberry Cup and other local causes that strengthen community ties. She views her business not only as a retail venture but as a platform for giving back and engaging with those around her.
Among her most meaningful achievements, Ms. Gallagher emphasizes the balance she has created between business and motherhood. She is proud of raising her daughters, Adeline and Mackenzie, while pursuing her entrepreneurial goals, and she hopes to inspire other women to embrace both career ambitions and family life. In her personal time, she enjoys supporting her children’s activities, spending time with family, and unwinding with simple pleasures such as getting her nails done.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Gallagher envisions Daisy Lane Kids Boutique maintaining a strong presence in physical locations while expanding its online platform. She is working to establish a distribution center that will support both vendor products and a new in-house private label. Developed in collaboration with a former colleague from Express, this brand represents the next step in her growth as an entrepreneur. She continues to position herself as a leader in children’s fashion and as an innovator committed to shaping the future of retail.
