Tenisha Ramsay

Tenisha M. Ramsay has built a career marked by creativity, innovation and leadership in marketing and business strategy. As founder of Rebel Soul Lifestyle Brand, she guides the company’s vision across several industries, including wine, tourism and travel. Working closely with the executive committee, she develops and executes strategies that not only drive business growth but also reflect her personal interests. Her role involves managing offices and programs with a focus on aligning strategic initiatives with long-term goals, positioning the company to succeed in highly competitive markets. 

Ms. Ramsay’s academic background has been central to her success. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in finance marketing from Simmons University after completing coursework through the Domestic Exchange Program at Spelman College. She went on to receive a Master of Business Administration in marketing media and communications from Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. She is pursuing a Master of Science in wine and hospitality management at KEDGE Business School in Paris, France, a program that reflects her ambition to launch her own wine brand. She also graduated from King School, where she built the foundation for her academic and professional achievements. 

Prior to founding Rebel Soul Lifestyle Brand, Ms. Ramsay was the integrated marketing leader at Citrin Cooperman. In this role, she managed comprehensive marketing initiatives that strengthened brand visibility and enhanced client engagement. She oversaw campaigns that emphasized creativity and results, contributing to the firm’s growth and reputation. 

Earlier in her career, Ms. Ramsay worked as a marketing consultant at Prudential Financial, Inc., providing strategic guidance and helping streamline marketing processes. Her ability to deliver practical solutions positioned her as a trusted voice within the organization. She was also a corporate vice president at New York Life Insurance Company, developing marketing strategies that advanced the company’s objectives and supported overall business expansion. 

Ms. Ramsay’s tenure at Mastercard remains a highlight of her career. As senior product marketing manager, she created a thought leadership project on the global shift from cash to cashless transactions. This initiative required translating content into multiple languages, producing webinars and leading a major campaign that gained recognition in publications such as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. She also developed a thought leadership compendium for C-suite executives in finance and banking, a resource that continues to be used by the company. In acknowledgment of her contributions, she was honored with the H.E.A.R.T Award. 

In addition to these accomplishments, Ms. Ramsay also contributed to innovation during her time at Gartner, Inc. Working as the marketing communications manager, she was part of the team that developed Gartner’s first application for the iPad. She led marketing communications for the project, underscoring her ability to bring new ideas into practice at a global organization. 

Ms. Ramsay’s professional involvement extends beyond the workplace. She is an active member of the National Black MBA Association, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and the Black Student Organization at Simmons University. She has also given back through civic engagement, including serving on the volunteer board for Komen NYC Race for the Cure with Susan G. Komen and participating on the alumna board at Simmons University. 

Outside of her professional and civic commitments, Ms. Ramsay enjoys traveling, exploring food and wine culture, and spending time with family and friends. She has a particular passion for experiences that connect her personal interests with her professional goals. She plans to relocate to Paris for further study while continuing to expand Rebel Soul Lifestyle Brand. Her long-term goal is to establish her own wine brand, bringing together her expertise in marketing, hospitality and entrepreneurship to make a lasting impact on the industry.
