Erica Perry Briody, MBA, has earned international recognition as a leader in talent acquisition by blending business insight with a passion for helping organizations and individuals reach their full potential. As executive talent acquisition advisor at Culture Index LLC, she collaborates with executives and start-ups to interpret behavioral data that helps identify the most compatible candidates for key roles. Her work focuses on uncovering strengths, motivations and communication styles to ensure each hire aligns with a company’s culture and long-term vision.

Ms. Briody also founded Culturally Aligned Talent, a talent and branding consultancy firm which partners with organizations to craft and elevate their employee value proposition, ensuring the brand is both inspiring and authentic to attract, engage and retain top talent. A recognized LinkedIn strategist, she collaborates with senior leaders to strengthen their digital presence and offers comprehensive profile management services.

Grounded in a strong academic foundation, Ms. Briody earned a Master of Business Administration in international business from Henley Business School in the United Kingdom. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business and communication. Her academic preparation has been supplemented by several certifications in leadership and talent development, including the Lominger Leadership Architect and learning agility credentials from Korn Ferry, a coaching certification from Novartis AG and Six Sigma greenbelt certification from GE.

Ms. Briody has received several honors for her work, including the Top Women in HR Leadership Technology Application Award, the Luminary Award from WIN and the HRO Superstar Award from HRO Global SharedXpertise Media LLC. She is the author of “Good Girl, Be BAD,” a book that challenges traditional expectations of women in the workplace and encourages bold leadership. A frequent speaker, she uses her platform to share insights and personal experiences that resonate with diverse audiences.

Ms. Briody’s extensive leadership experience spans several major global organizations. At REEF Technology Inc., she was the senior vice president of global talent acquisition, developing strategic recruitment frameworks to support rapid company growth. In a similar leadership role at BYJU’S, she focused on identifying and hiring C-suite executives, further honing her expertise in matching top talent with the right organizational fit. Her time at OYO saw her scale workforce operations across new markets, while her work at IQVIA Inc. involved strategic workforce planning and building leadership pipelines to support long-term business goals.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Briody made a significant impact at Novartis AG, leading talent and search efforts on a global scale. She established a full-time acquisition center in India and set ambitious hiring goals that were met with remarkable efficiency and high satisfaction scores. Prior to this role, she was head of talent acquisition for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at General Electric Company, where she further refined her international leadership abilities.

Beyond her corporate roles, Ms. Briody is actively engaged in community service and advocacy for women’s empowerment. She serves as Committee Chair for Macmillan Cancer Support and actively fundraises for Underdog Rescue of Florida as well as SPARCC, a center supporting women affected by domestic violence. As a mentor, she encourages young women to find their voice, advocate for equal pay and build careers with purpose. She plans to launch her book and speak at schools and universities to inspire the next generation of women leaders. Her future goals include developing executive workshops that combine her expertise in leadership, coaching and talent strategy with a commitment to well-being and growth.
