Earlier in her career, Ms. Williams served as a managing consultant at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas from 2014 to 2019. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in leading several high-profile projects, contributing to the company’s operational transformation and strengthening her leadership and project management skills.
Ms. Williams’s professional experience also includes leadership roles in several prominent organizations. She was senior vice president of the enterprise project office at Associated Bank from 2013 to 2014, where she led large-scale projects that significantly impacted the bank’s operations. Prior to this role, she worked as a customer experience consultant and PMO development lead at Instant Technology in Chicago from 2011 to 2013. Some of Ms. Williams’ earlier roles include serving as director of information technology finance and PMO at Illinois Licensed Beverage from 2007 to 2011, senior manager of global PMO at Kraft Foods from 2006 to 2007, and senior program manager for enterprise technology, strategy, and planning at Allstate from 2003 to 2006.
Ms. Williams laid a strong academic foundation for her career success, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University and a Master of Business Administration from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Her commitment to continuing education is further reflected in her certifications, which include a certification in change management, information technology service management, and the Project Management Professional designation from the Project Management Institute.
